Fighting for love

He held my face so I would look him in the eyes and searched my eyes for any emotion, I dropped my eyes to his hand in mine then looked back up to me, "Courtney told me there was something wrong, you walked away while you were talking" oh yeah, course she went to him, why can't she just leave him alone, she knows how long I've loved him for, it's not fair. I do love Courtney but I have to be honest, I've always been jealous of her, she's beautiful, funny and everything I want to be. For once can I have a guy for myself. I knew it was too good to be true. I looked back at him and shook my head, I turned and walked away and he ran after me and caught me, he held my hands and said "Em, are you jealous?" He breathed out a laugh and smirked. "Erm, no" I said in my 'of course not' voice but he knew straight away. "You think Courtney is tying to flirt with me don't you?" I nodded at him while looking at my shuffling feet ashamed. He kissed me and after he pulled away he looked me in the eyes and said "Emily, you're the only girl for me okay? I was asking Courtney what I should get you for your birthday, and she said get you a spider and I asked if you liked spiders and she burst out laughing and said if I got you a spider you would cut my man parts off and I want those" I laughed at my idiocy and apologised to Tay, "I don't think it's me you should be apologising to princess, Courtney thinks you hate her" i hug him and kiss his cheek "thank you" and run to find Courtney, I found her in the hall crying in Luke's arms. Luke heard me and looked up, he smiled at me and pulled courtneys head up wiping away the tears, then nodded in my direction, she looked at me smiled and ran towards me to hug me, I hugged her back. I looked up at like and mouthed thank you, he nodded and walked away and I apologised to Courtney "I should never have doubted you, I guess the jealous side of me came out and I thought he was going to leave me for you, I was scared for no reason" she looked at me as a tear rolled down her cheek "Emily, you are the best thing that's ever happened to me and I would never hurt you, I love Luke and Tay was telling me that he's falling for you already, I would never ever do that to you. I love you Emily and you mean the world to me, I could never hurt you, ever" by this time I was in tears and I hugged her tighter, "thank you Courtney, I love you too and I promise to never think like that again"
