Chapter Twenty One

AJ sat at the table of the cafeteria and waited for his mate to arrive. Cole had told him about what had just gone on with her and Faith, as well as what happen with the other girls, and he could not help but worry that he has ruined his relationship with his mate because of all the women he had been with. He could only hope that she would forgive him.

He spotted her the moment she walked into the room. Her red and white hair was up in a high pony tail and was swaying side to side as she walked.

 He sat up straighter in his chair as he watched his mate and Cole make their way over to him. “Hey” He said as his mate sat down beside him. Hoping she was no longer angry with him and was not still ignoring.

He felt relieved when Rose smiled at him before grabbing some fries from his tray “Hey" She said.

He watched as she scanned the room before she let out a deep breath and looked back at him. “How was PE?” she asked him.

He looked at her for a moment and wondered why she was not angry at him any more, deciding it was probably best not to over think it he decided to let her easy forgiveness go, AJ shrugged his shoulders “It was just like every other class here, a waste of time

“AJ, Cole” both boys heard their father say through the mind link. “We need all pack members to return to the pack house”

AJ stood from his chair, as he looked at his brother who mimicked his worried expression “Why dad what’s happen?” AJ asked through the mind link.

“It’s you grandmother, she has found a hunter, He was on our land.”

AJ eyes widened in disbelief before a smirk appeared on his face. He looked at Cole and shook his head “Never doubted she could do it for a second” He said to Cole

“Never doubted who?” Rose asked

AJ looked at her and smiled “Looks like we are heading home early today, seems my gran has gone and caught herself a hunter.”

Rose eyes widened in shock and disbelief “What” She breathed out looking down at the ground “But how?” She asked looking back up at AJ and frowning. “That’s impossible”

AJ winked at her “Told you grans wolf was special”

AJ link his mind to all the werewolves that were at school “Everybody the Alpha has ordered all pack members to return to the pack house immediately.”

They didn't have to worry about signing out of school before leaving, or coming up with a plausible explanation why so many students needed to leave the school at the same time. The principle was from their pack so he would know why they were all leaving.

It didn’t take long for the cafeteria to start emptying as the pack members left to head to the pack house as instructed. AJ looked at Rose.

“You ready to go?” he asked her.

“Sure” She said nodding her head.

Cole, AJ, and Rose walked out of the school building together and made their way to their cars.

“Wait what about Danny?” Rose asked as she grabbed AJ by the arm.

“I can go get him.” Cole volunteered.

“No that’s ok, we can get him.” AJ told him.

Rose and AJ got into AJ’s car and drove off immediately into the direction of Danny’s school. “Where did your gran find the hunter?’ Rose asked.

“Not sure” AJ said frowning in thought. “All dad said was that he was found on our land”

“I still can’t believe she found one. No werewolf has ever been able to find them while they are hunting” Rose whispered softly.
