1)Having Candice agree to film for scenes that are video calls between Caroline and her daughters. They could film them all at once and then gradually show them throughout the seasons as small scenes so that it seems credible that Caroline is actually existing in this spinoff as their mother.
2)Nina as a cameo. Mystic Falls is a small town so it would be more of a shock to never see Elena in the town that to see her. I do not want Legacies to be TVD, but if Nina doesn't agree to have a slight cameo then they should at least film around the setting of her clinic and having a double be seen from behind in medical clothing as they shut the blinds from that window. It would be a good reference to Elena working there and they wouldn't need Nina for it if she doesn't want to appear.
3)Having a Shapeshifter monster appear into town and take the form of Hayley and Klaus. It would be a good idea to have Joseph and Phoebe appear in one episode just like Jodi and Chris did. The monster could be trying to torment Hope and that would make him the scariest one of them all because he is actually playing with her feelings in the best way. I think he should be killed while looking as Klaus by Alaric and having Hope break down into Alaric's arms as she realizes it was never her father. She starts crying and starts talking about how much she has been missing her parents.
3)Seeing the characters graduate the Salvatore School.
4)Having a plot twist about how Caroline has actually been on the run because she has found something that can save her daughters from merging, but only at the cost of destroying all the magic of The Gemini Coven. ( i know they are siphoners, but there has to be a loophole somewhere because Jo put her magic into a knife back in 1994)
5)Lizzie and Josie going on a trip to Europe without telling Alaric. They are in search of Caroline, but the even bigger idea is that Kai Parker came back to life (for the 100th time) because The Necromancer resurrected him and is secretly following them so that he can steal the thing from Caroline and eventuallly absorb all The Gemini Coven's power. The thing is that the power will destroy Kai for good and his death will lead to Josie and Lizzie being safe from the merge and all The Gemini Coven turning into normal people as Lizzie and Josie are the last siphoners left.
6)The Necromancer killing Alaric and having dark Alaric back as he is under The Necomancer's orders. This could take place after Lizzie and Josie become heretics and are actually a threat to some place that The Necromancer might have. He will try to turn Alaric against them, but the twins will bring him back. This could be a dark plot as we could have Alaric killing some people and eventually him telling his daughters about a time in the past when this used to happen too- aka a reference to Season 3 of TVD. Alaric could be afraid that his daughters will no longer love him after knowing what he has done, but this will only strengthen their bond more.
7)MJ going into no humanity reaper mode as he travels the world and has many one night stands. I think they should explore his character mode and not just resume him to a nerd. Of course, his friends should bring him back on track. I think this should take place after Hope is a full tribrid. She could compell him to turn his humanity on and then have Lizzie deal with him and support him.
8)Seeing Freya's son. Freya could be coming to The Salvatore School to help the students with something and as she is busy with some business, the little boy could be wondering the sorroundings and eventually make acquaintances with a girl named Stephanie Salvatore that is roughly around the same age as him. If Julie Plec ever wants to have another spin-off this would be a great way to introduce the future characters.
9)Alaric going to Damon's bar and having Ian appear as a cameo. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a short scene that shouldn't last more than 2 minutes.
10)The Salvatore Students sneaking into one of Mystic Falls' decade dances despite Alaric's protests.
11)Josie and Lizzie sneaking alcohol into Hope's room as they get ready so that all 3 of them can have a girls night. Eventually Alyssa can join them too. The boys should also have a boys night by themselves, but theirs should not be funny - it should be like a comedic relief or a contrast because they are all stuck with Alaric in a motel after going on a trip to recrute someone for the school.
12)Kat Graham appearing in an episode. Having Josie visit Bonnie for advice in spells. Eventually Josie stumbles upon a book that Bonnie has been writing about types of magic as she wants to go back to university and have the same job her grandmother did- teaching ocult studies. In it she also tells a small story about expression/manifestation (it's not directly referenced, but Josie remembers she read once about that somehwere and it can give her the exact power she needs at that time). Josie eventually fools Bonnie into believing everything is ok, but a few episodes later she gets into the art of expression. I think she should be the first witch to control this kind of magic in totality.
13)Landon passing by Whitmore College along with Hope after a mission and telling her how he once wanted to apply to it after finnishing highschool, but that was before he knew he was a phoenix. Eventually this should lead to a scene where Landon tells Hope how his life has changed after they have met and how glad he is that he is not ordinary, he can also make a few jokes.
14)Having more flashbacks from The Necromancer's life. This should add more depth to his character and they should be from the time when he was as feared as Klaus, if not even more.
15)Having an organization that's against the supernatiral try to take down innocent students from The Salvatore School, but this time it should be brutal.
16)Malivore appearing as a mud man and then shifting into a very charming male. I think he would be the best antagonist if he could appear as a human and not as a monster. Of course his actual form should be that of a mud man, but I think that giving him a cynical personality and making him human will make him scarier. He should also be stronger than Hope and have all the monsters obey him.
17)Honestly, I want to see some sirens and demons that will actually stay as characters for a longer time and not immediately die.
18)More scenes filmed into the graveyard.
19)Hope at full tribrid power.
20)Seeing all the characters attend prom and having Josie and Rafael win the titles of prom king and queen.
