Soaking Him In Cold

Kacchan puts his feet up on the desk and I sit on it while placing my legs like a bridge over his.

A boy speed walks over to us and immediately starts berating Kacchan and telling him to take his legs off of the desk.

Kacchan starts arguing with him, and I sigh, gliding over to the boy, who I learned was named Tenya Iida from his argument with Kacchan.

I place my hand on the back of his neck, sending cold waves through him and he goes quiet, glancing around the room for the source.

"Hey, I understand that you're just doing what you think is right, but it's bothering Kacchan, so can you go away, please?" I ask.

I know Iida can't really hear me, but my words will still influence him. I breathe out, soaking him in cold, all the way to his bones.

He turns back to Kacchan, looking at him in distaste. "I still believe you should not disrespect this prestigious academy's property,"

I squeeze the back of his neck tighter, sending another wave of deathly cold through him and being rewarded with a shudder, and he continues, "but class is about to start, and I have no time for delinquents like you."

A spike of anger rises in me as a result of his insult, and as he turns around, I send more cold into him, this time giving him a brain freeze.

A girl with brown hair comes into the classroom and goes to her seat.

I glide back to the position I was in before and look over to Kacchan. He's smirking slightly with amusement, and I'm satisfied with his reaction.

He starts tapping on the table in Morse code, we learned that as kids, and says, still smirking, 'I didn't need your help.'

"You didn't need it, but you're still smiling." I respond.

Kacchan scowls, but I can still see the tug of amusement on his lips.

I roll my eyes. "You can't hide things from me, we've known each other our whole lives. I can read you like a book."

A tired man comes into the classroom, basically tells everyone to shut up, and hands out gym uniforms.

Okay then.

Kacchan heads out to change, and I follow him all the way to the locker room, waiting outside for him to finish.

I never watch him change at home, why start now?

When he comes out, we make our way out to the P.E. grounds, where Mr. Aizawa announces the quirk assessment test.

Kacchan gets to pitch first and I cheer him on.

"Shut up, nerd." He says, right before shooting the ball off with explosions and screaming, "Die!"

"Die? Really?" I ask him, laughing until my sides would hurt if I was still alive.

When the students say that it sounds like fun, Mr. Aizawa says that whoever places last gets expelled.

"Looks like you don't really have much to worry about, huh, Kacchan?" I say.

I see him nod out of the corner of my eye, while I'm staring into Mr. Aizawa's soul, trying to figure out who he is.

"Aha, I recognize him now! He's Eraserhead!" I state, smacking my fist into my hand as an emphasis to my epiphany.

"He sure talks a lot." Kacchan mutters to me while Mr. Aizawa finishes his umpteenth speech today. I hum in agreement.

I watch the others during their tests and tell Kacchan what I examined about their quirks while we wait for his turn.

Once it's finally time for Kacchan's dash, he's up against a purple haired guy who looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than here.

He looks like he's about to ask Kacchan something, but I put my hand on the back of his neck and send cold waves through him, trying to help Kacchan out.

The signal to start goes off, and Kacchan speeds away with his explosions, leaving the purple haired guy in the dust.

Because of my interference, the purple guy has a late start, and gets a pretty bad score. When he walks away, I blow cold air on him, and he shivers.

"I didn't need help." Kacchan says.

I shrug and follow him to wait for the next test.

Comment, I'm lonely.
