13 -The past & Realization-

At the previous school of Bam and Rachel.

"Hey! Move there will you!?" One of the students said.

"So-sorry."

"Hey! Stop that you!" Said Rachel as she defended Bam.

"Rachel...?"

After that...

"Why are you crying like that again Bam!? Crying like a baby. That's why they look down to you like that"

"Thank you, Rachel..." Bam said as he sniffed.

"Yeah..." Rachel said as she pat Bam's head.

That time, Bam was always been the target of bullying because he was weak but, because Rachel was in his side he depended on her and because of that he was blinded and didn't see Rachel's true color.

"Bam~?"

Rachel asked him for a lot of things, make him do a lot of errands and he just followed it as he thought that he must return a favor for Rachel.

3 years passed by. Bam thought to himself that he can't go on like that and depend on Rachel forever so he decided to get stronger not just physically but also mentally so that this time he will be the one to protect Rachel.

Everything began to change slowly and it is a good thing since Bam gained confidence and new friends along the way but, not for Rachel. She was not glad that Bam found new friends and is not being bullied anymore. Because, she can no longer get the favor back. She was pissed and started to avoid Bam.

Bam was still not aware of it as he was a little dense but then Rachel began to be jealous of him. As he was laughing happily together with his new friends. Rachel felt irritated. Irritated, that she was left alone by Bam and is now lauging with his new friends.

"That guy! even though his just a lame and a weakling person!" How dare he-

"Rachel let's go home" Bam said as she smiled at her.

"Stop smiling like an idiot it's irritating..." She mumbled.

"Did you say something Rachel?"

"Nothing. Let's go?"

Bam's weakness becomes his strength as the girls thought it was kind of cute and the guys became interested in him as they realized it was easy to hang out with him.

After that Rachel began to hate Bam more because of her envy. She felt that Bam stole something from her. She thought Bam stole her happiness and ability to make friends. Even though it's her fault she doesn't want to admit it and blamed everything to Bam.

She began to be more desperate to be a star. She thought that if she will be a star, she will gain fame and people will like her but, she can't do it in that place because Bam already became more and more famous at that school that she felt out of place.

She then decided to transfer school to start her new school life. "I will be a star..." She promised to herself.

She was able to gain friends but, the thing is she became astray, as the friends she gained are not good people. They are nothing but a relationship with benifits but, she thought that as long as they stayed with her even if it's not real. It will be enough.

Then one day, Bam transferred to her new school. She was really surprised. Bam chased her. "That obsess guy..." She was irritated.

"Rachel..." Bam always call her in a sweet and low voice.

"Yeah" and she will answer with a fake smile in her face that she was used to. She wasn't glad as she felt that Bam will steal something again from her.

Present day. At Bam's house.

"Rachel..." He mumbled."You're a star right? My star..." Bam said as he slowly close his eyes and sleep.

Morning comes again. Bam who was walking at the hallway bumped into Endorsi. It wasn't an accident it was Endorsi who intentionally bump into him. Bam immediately look at her and bowed his head. "Im sorry Endorsi-san" He said.

Endorsi was a little surprised. She didn't want to forgive him easily but, she thought that it was really adorable. "F-fine. Whatever." She said while her arms are crossed.

Bam look at her and smiled. "Thank you Endorsi-san!" He said.

"Hmp. Don't expect me to say sorry Bam for what i've said yesterday. I won't admit that i'm wrong because it's the truth!" She said as she look at Bam.

Bam slowly stand up straight and faced Endorsi. "Yeah. I understand."

Endorsi sighted. She slowly caress Bam's face with her right hand. "Bam... You're a kind hearted guy... i don't know if you are just too good of a guy or just dense but, you deserve someone better. Better than the girl you reffered to as a star."

After that the bell rang. Indicating the classes is about to start. The two then go on their own classrooms.

Bam thought of what Endorsi said... Someone better? Bam was in daze the whole lesson without noticing that the classes already ended and is now time for lunch.

"Bam are you okey?" Khun asked.

"What!? Is the black turtle sick? You guys are weak!" Rak said.

"HUH!? Who are you saying weak? When you just got a flat zero in the quiz earlier!"

"Hmp! It's not my forte!"

Bam stared at Rak and Khun as they argued. "Pfft!"

"Hmm... Aren't you looking fine now?" Khun said as he smiled gently to Bam. "Whatever it might be, you can tell me. Were friends aren't we?"

Bam's eyes widened as he was caught up with Khun's smile, it was a beautiful and an honest smile. It is what a true smile is! compared to how his star smile, Khun's smile is the prettiest. A true star... Bam said to himself and was a little surprised to his thoughts. As he was still staring at Khun. He felt his heart suddenly beat faster. He put his hand in his chest and feel his heartbeat. What's this...? He asked to himself. Confused, as it was the first time he felt like that. 

As he was still staring at Khun that time, khun stared back at him. Wondering why Bam hasn't said anything. When suddenly Bam became aware of what's happening. He flinched. Seeing Khun and Rak staring at him in wonder.

"Rak-san...Khun-san...?"

"Are you really okey Bam? you were just looking at me without saying anything!" Said Khun with a little worry in his eyes. Khun was looking cool and composed as he always have been but, inside is his heart has been beating fast for a while now as he was being stared at by Bam. He don't know what he was supposed to feel, happy? Embarrassed? Or maybe both? He don't know.

"Ye-yeah... I'm fine."

"You look a little flushed though turtle..." Said Rak. "Maybe you weaklings should go to the infirmary.

Weaklings? Bam wondered as to why Rak said it with "S" if he was just referring to him. He then look at Khun who was looking away, avoiding having any eye contact to him. He was curious as to why? But, he is more than curious of what he is feeling now. He then saw Khun's ears was red and also his face. His eyes widened. Khun-san...? 

Meanwhile Endorsi who was looking for them saw everything that happened. "Love sick..." She mumbled. She look at Khun who was looking at the other side trying to avoid an eye contact with Bam with his face flushed. What are you a girl? She said to herself out of irritation. That Khun... 

And so they eat their lunch in an awkward atmosphere.
