Amara was the second one awake after Fiona who was trying to clean clothes in the rocking washer, while sharing a cup of coffee with her sister. New house same old furniture and appliances. Amara began cooking breakfast for her fellow monstrous siblings and possibly father if he hadn't already left to find a local bar. "WAKE UP 7:15!" Fiona yelled trying to get all the Gallagher children awake so they weren't late for their first day of school.

The scene made Amara feel like they hadn't left the city. All the kids coming down at once grabbing a seat around the small table and putting Liam in his high chair. Everyone was quickly stuffing their faces and Fiona was also feeding Liam as she ate. Frank no surprise was already gone for the day probably lurking the streets to find the local bar.

Everyone was running around hecticly as they looked for their bags and shoes running towards the door all in one big hoard. Fiona waved as we piled into my van that was totally not stolen and repainted by the way.

Dropping Debbie and Carl off at the La Push Elementary which was tiny, then the older Gallagher children driving somewhat recklessly down the barren roads jamming to some classic rock towards the high school. All passing around a cigarette even as they pulled into the schools parking lot. They sat looking out at all the tan students who were staring in there general direction. "Damn we are literally the only white kids here" Lip said with a slight chuckle. Amara rolled her eyes and Ian looked around the parking lot through the window in the middle seat.

"We are already the talk of school and we haven't even stepped out of the car yet. Talk about entrances huh?" He asked taking the last drag of the cigarette and blowing it out his window before climbing out. "Well might as well get them used to us then." Amara said with a mischievous smile before climbing out and walking around to her two brothers side of the car.

Lip got out while looking at his new peers trying to look for potential customers, but also at all the girls who began to giggle. Amara just scoffed at his ogling before pushing her brothers ahead of her not noticing she had caught all the male attention at the school.

They walked through the big main doors which got the rest of the schools attention also noticing the new kids who were now gonna be the talk of school. Amara pulled her brother into the main office, wanting to just get school over with so she could go to her job interview after school. "Well my guess is your the Gallagher's, here is your schedules, a map for each of you, and your locker assignments for the year." The plump looking lady said smiling handing them all their stuff.

Amara huffed our a thanks before walking back out into the hallway that was filled with nothing but whispers. "So who wants help getting to class first?" Amara asked with a smile looking at her brother first classes. "Ian yours is closest judging but room number so let's go!" She said enthusiasticly leading the way following their maps.

The bell rang after Amara got Lip to his class indicating she was now late. But she simply shrugged as she found her class a few minutes later, walking in making the teacher stop talking completely and look at her with slight agitation. "Miss Gallagher I assume? Your late." The man drawled adjusting his tie. "Sorry, I got held up." Amara said in a bored and non apologetic tone before walking to an empty seat in the back plopping down next to a shy girl who kept glancing at her but didn't say anything.

The teacher shook his head before going back to talking about some war in history. "What a bore?" Amara whispered hearing a chuckle beside her. The shy girl looked to her nervous before answering, "That's Mr Melman, it's always like this." She said with a soft smile. "Hmm then I'll be able to catch up on my sleep in this class is what I'm hearing?" Amara asked with a soft laugh before looking up and smiling at the girl. "Amara Gallagher and you are?" She asked in hopes of actually making a friend but already fearing her rejection. Making friends was hard for her, it's not that she didn't try just most people in Chicago didn't like her all that much.

"Kim Crawford" she said with a small smile nodding. The two girls whispered back and forth most of class rather then paying attention. When the bell rang the two shared schedules making Amara ecstatic, they were in a majority of classes together. "You have English with me next period too, you can meet my boyfriend Jared." She said looking like a love struck idiot making me laugh full heartedly. "Am I gonna have to watch you guys be all 'I love you more' and 'No I love you more' all period?" She asked in mockery making Kim blush.

How spot on she was as her and Kim walked through the door and Kim beelined to the back row next to a very tall and buff guy who looked at her with so much love it made Amara sick. "Jared this is my new friend Amara Gallagher, Amara this is my boyfriend Jared Cameron" she said excitedly but not taking her eyes from Jared.

"Nice to meet you Amara." Jared said briefly before his undivided attention was back Kim. "Likewise" Amara snorted sitting down on the other side of Kim. The bell rang but the two kept eye fucking each other for the ENTIRE class. She couldn't help but feel jealous, she had never had time back home to find a guy. Plus guys back home just made her want to bang her head on a wall 85% of the time.

When class finally ended Amara rose from her seat and looked to Kim who seemed sad to be parting from Jared. But Amara was secretly happy as all class she had felt slightly uncomfortable and like a third wheel. But Kim's smile came back as they began walking to math, the two talked about how small La Push was and how theirs little to do. Amara was hoping maybe her and siblings would be able to stay out of trouble, but of course she knew they'd find a way around here to still do so.

As Frank once said, Gallagher's know how to have a good time.

As the two girls walked into class Amara was giggling at something Kim said when she sat down feeling the guy next to Kim staring at them. "Hey Kimmy, and Kimmys friend" the guy said teasing Kim making her roll her eyes. " Amara this is Paul Lahote, Paul this is Amara Gallagher." Kim said nonchalantly. But as Amara looked Paul in the eyes he seemed to freeze in place and tense up as he stared at her.

"Problem Lahote?" She asked but only received staring as an answer

"Problem Lahote?" She asked but only received staring as an answer. This caused Kim's demeanor to change as she noticed Paul's usual cockiness was silent for once. As soon as she looked at him she knew what he had done. She immediately began texting Jared, while Amara looked to Paul for any sign of movement. "Dude are you good or what?" Amara asked earning a slight nod. She just chuckled before leaning back in her seat covering her somewhat from his gaze.

She didn't notice but he too leaned back to continue staring at her, Kim was partially in the way but he was still mesmerized by what he could see. Her long curly brown hair, slight tan skin, big doe brown eyes, and her bright pink lips. Kim kept glancing between the two with a knowing smile, she couldn't wait for lunch next period with the entire pack. She was sure Jared was texting all the guys letting them know Paul imprinted on the new girl. She just hoped they didn't rile Paul up about his imprint, knowing he'd lose his temper easily.

But Kim couldn't help but smile as Paul Lahote smiled harder then she's ever seen with his eyes on Amara who just stared at the lesson on the bored with no interest and her hand holding her chin as she rested her elbow on the desk.
