Sitting besides Paul in Spanish probably wasn't the best idea, it was clear he had no interest in the actual class and he kept talking to me. "So what do you think of this town?" He asked with interest as we sat huddled in the back. Clearly trying to stray away from our teachers watchful eyes as he gave his lecture.
"It's safe and predictable." I said with a small smile making him arch an eyebrow. "Is that a good or bad thing?" He asked with a smirk making me look down then smile back up to him, "I don't know yet?" I say with a glance towards him before I met the eyes of our Spanish teacher. "Focus Miss Gallagher, and Mr Lahote." He said Paul's name with more distaste then mine and I just smiled in apologies and wrote the notes down.
All the while Paul's eyes rested on me making me want to look at him but I needed good grades if I wanted to pass this year. He however just rested his head on his hand and watched me as if I was the most interesting thing in the world. I could hardly focus with his eyes on me like this, it truly made me just want to kiss him. Weird right? Me the girl who's never been interested in dating ready to share my first kiss with some random guy I've met today.
I was grateful when the bell finally rang allowing us to leave for our last class of the day which Paul and I also had together. It made me blush as he laid a hand on my back and guided me to our health class. People seemed to watch our every move as we made our way there.
This was a mixed grade class so I was excited to see both Ian and lip were actually in my class. I sat next to lip and Paul sat on my other side. We were all goofing off in the back and Paul's arm was around my shoulder as we all giggled together. Lip was cracking another wise joke when some girl with bright blonde hair turned around and smiled at him making him stop. "Your the new guy right? I hear your good at school and my mom wants my science grade to go up. Think you could tutor me after school?" She asked innocently making Lip agreeing for extra money.
Me and Paul gave each other knowing looks and Ian was clueless just shrugging it off while me and Paul made kissy faces at Lip. "Oh you two are ones to talk". He waved us off making me gasp and go slack jawed as Paul looked proud and smirked through the rest of class.
"So who is that lucky girl Lip?" Ian asked as we walked towards our lockers. He just caught on that the girl seemed interested in more than studying, and lip was annoyed at our poking. "Alright alright back off losers I'm just trying to make an extra buck or two here." His city accent coming out as he grabbed his books for homework later. "And her name is Karen you jackasses." He said with a slight chuckle now joining in. We all immediately gave him 'yeah rights' about it being just for a buck or two knowing he was probably gonna do more then tutor her.
