New Time

I walk into the room, sit down and wait for him to arrive. When he comes into the room i notice that his eyes are red and kinda puffy like if he was crying. "No problem, i know what its like my dad used to beat my mom and then one day he had a heart attack at work and even though i hated him i still cried when i found out." He sat in the chair behind his desk and gestured for me to come sit in the chair in front of him.

I walk over to the chair and sit down "Can u fill this out while i take a momentary break to the bathroom." I nod my head and then he leaves the room, then i get a call from Lexi i answer and she says this through muffled tears "Conner... Cheated... On... Me. He said that he hooked up with some someone else at Ashely's party last week. I don't know what to do the game starts in 10 min and i cant go out there like this. Why... Just why... "It's ok, stay calm if i could i would come there to comfort you but therapy lasts for another 40 min." Then she says " Its ok I know, but i cant control this anger..." Then Dr.Micel walks in and i say " I need your help, my best friend lexi just found out her boyfriend cheated and could really use some help before she does something she regrets."

I hand him the phone and he says "Listen Lexi, it will be ok just go out there and forget about him, highschool relationships dont survive anyway. Then she says something that i can't hear and then the phone hangs up. He hands me my phone and I say "Thank you, That was great but are u ok right now?"

He nods then responds "Yeah but i have to continue the session, so for the rest i need you to answer the survey." I sit back down in the chair and at the end of the session we hug again and I leave down the hallway and when i go to the waiting room the boys are there and i sit in between them. I walk in and my mother says "Katherine, these are our new neighbors they just moved in next door. So i invited them to dinner, you might know her sons from school."
