"So how about that date?"

Hiccup POV
I gave her a soft kiss on the cheek and parted to go towards  our respected huts.
I entered and saw a very lazy night fury laying next to my desk I chuckled slightly, and then asked him to move.

I opened the box, and looked at the present I had spent days working on. I couldn't help but smile. It was a silver set, containing a bracelet and a necklace. The braclet was intricate, and had a rare blue and green gem in the middle. The necklace also had the stone in the middle, but with little charms dangling down shaped like a Deadly Nadder and a Night fury on either side. The stones both had our initials carved onto them. I lift my head up and turn to my best friend.
"So, do you think she'll like them."
He leads out a huff and turns around.
"Wow, supportive best friend of the year award."
I put the box in said amazing friend's saddlebag.

Toothless and I head toward Astrid's hut and knock on her door.
"Astrid, you ready?"
"Yeah, I'm coming."
I look at her, Gods, she is so beautiful her smile, her laugh, her eyes, her hair, her lips-
"Hello, Midgard to Hiccup."
"Oh, uh sorry Milady, you're just so beautiful."
"You're not too bad yourself."
I lean forward and give her a peck on the cheek.
I hold her hand and gesture toward our dragons.
"Shall we?"
"Of course."

No one POV
The gang was currently in a tree, all with spy glasses in their hands, waiting for Hiccup and Astrid to arrive for their date. Snotlout was beginning to get annoyed and spoke up.
"Ugh, why are we in this stupid tree anyway? Are we even sure that this is where they're having their date?"
"Yes, Hiccup told me."
"The fact that he set this up is so cute."Heather fangirled
Ruffnut recalled what she heard a couple days ago and decided to announce it.
"I heard that he's planning to--"
She was cut off by her brother who had put a hand over her mouth.
"No spoilers."
Snotlout began to complain.
"Why am I here anyway."
"Because I told you to be here and you love me."
Snotlout mumbled to himself.
"You're lucky I do."
"Don't worry Snotlout, you'll get used to it." Fishlegs said, knowing how he felt.
"Gee Snotlout, not even one day into your relationship and she already has you wrapped around her finger." Heather added.
"Shut up Heather."
"Guys! I see their dragons."

HICCUP POV
I got off Toothless and went towards Astrid to help her off Stormfly and lead her towards the picnic. I didn't have much time to actually set the whole thing up so I went with picnic. It was at the place where the forest and the beach met so we could go for a little walk in the woods afterwards.
"Y-you set this up?"
"Course I did, wouldn't be much of a date without food."
"You dork."
"Your dork."
"Yep."
She got off Stormfly and gave me a kiss on the lips which I returned, obviously. It lasted about 30 seconds or so before we parted.
"Gods, I've been waiting to do that for ages." Astrid exclaimed.
"Me too, I mean, when was the last time we actually spent time together without the gang."
"Like, 3 days, which in my opinion, is far too long."
"I'm feeling very hungry right now so can we eat."
"I feel like you're always hungry." Astrid laughed.
