A week till she leaves.

"let me tell you a story, about a boy and a girl. It's kind of short, kinda boring. But the end is a whirl."

"They were just 16."
when they met each other.

As y/n scrambled to her feet, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, she couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for her clumsiness. Raindrops pattered softly against the pavement, adding to the dreary atmosphere of the cold, rainy day. But as she looked up, ready to apologize profusely to the person she had collided with, her breath caught in her throat. For standing before her was a figure whose gaze held a warmth and familiarity that stirred something deep within her.His chestnut eyes, like pools of sweet chocolate, met hers with a mixture of surprise and amusement. Despite the awkwardness of the situation, there was something undeniably captivating about the way he looked at her, as if he could see straight into her soul. For a moment, y/n found herself lost in those mesmerizing eyes, her heart skipping a beat as she struggled to find her voice. But as the spell broke and the reality of the situation set in, she offered a sheepish smile, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush."I-I'm so sorry," she stammered, her words coming out in a rush. "It's fine, don't worry!"

As the unexpected cold air hit her spine, her body trembled. The male noticed this and stuck his sweater out infront of him. As y/n accepted the sweater, a wave of gratitude washed over her, grateful for the unexpected act of kindness from a stranger. Despite her initial reluctance, she couldn't deny the warmth that enveloped her as she wrapped herself in the borrowed garment."Thanks," she murmured softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she met his gaze with a shy smile. The exchange of names felt like a small but significant step towards bridging the gap between them, a tentative beginning to what could be a newfound connection. And when Oikawa, with a gentle sincerity in his voice, offered to walk her home, y/n felt a flutter of excitement in her chest, mingled with a hint of nervousness. It was an invitation she couldn't refuse, a chance to spend a little more time in his company, to unravel the mysteries that lay hidden behind those chestnut eyes.As they walked together, the rain falling softly around them, y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within her. Little did she know, that this chance encounter would mark the beginning of a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns, leading her down a path she never could have imagined. And in that moment, amidst the gentle patter of raindrops and the soft glow of streetlights, she knew that her life would never be the same again.

As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, y/n and Oikawa's bond grew stronger with each passing moment. What had started as a chance encounter on a rainy day had blossomed into a deep and meaningful friendship, their connection forged through shared laughter, late-night conversations, and stolen moments of quiet companionship. Before they knew it, they had become inseparable, their friendship evolving effortlessly into something more. They laughed together, cried together, and shared their hopes and dreams with each other, finding solace in the warmth of each other's presence. But as time went on, cracks began to form in the foundation of their relationship, their once unbreakable bond strained by the weight of their own insecurities and doubts. Misunderstandings arose, words were said that couldn't be unsaid, and before they knew it, they found themselves drifting apart. It was a painful realization for both of them, a bitter pill to swallow as they watched the love they had fought so hard to build slip through their fingers. And yet, despite the ache in their hearts and the tears shed in the darkness of night, they knew that their paths had diverged, leading them down separate roads that they could no longer walk together. And so, Y/n knew that it was time to say goodbye—to the love they had once shared, to the memories they had made together, and to the dreams they had dared to dream as one. It was the end of an era, the closing of a chapter in their lives, but it was also the beginning of a new journey—one filled with hope, healing, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
