I completed my dance with a twirl. I was breathing heavily. Not that much as in the morning though! I looked at everyone to see their eyes freezed at me.
Okay! Did I dance that bad?!
This question popped in my head making me frown. But soon the frown vanished with the question as Sam started to clap. Everyone came out of their trance and clapped too.
"That was lit babe!" Sam said.
"Thank you!" I said and sat beside dad.
"You were awesome sweetie!" Dad said and pecked my forehead.
Everyone praised me for my performance. And I felt so overwhelmed. I am dancing from 2nd standard when I was a baby. I love to dance. It calms me down. But no one knows that I sing too. Singing and dancing are the only things that kept me sane during my uni days in LDN. Otherwise I'd have gotten mad with Sam and the constant lectures & studies.
"Here Mia! It's your turn now!" Sam gave me the bottle. I spinned it and it stopped on dad.
I smiled at him and asked truth or dare. He confidently choosed dare.
"Okay dad! So your task is you have to sing a romantic song for mum!" I said and winked at mum.
Everyone hooted for the couple. And I sat aside leaving them together. I cuddled next to Sunil uncle who wrapped his free arm around me and pecked my forehead.
"Nice one sweetie!" Sunil uncle said.
Flashing him a smile I turned my attention back to mum, dad.
