"I hope Henry buys some extra meat!" said Hazel closing the front door behind her "I'm starving!"
"Me too." said Heather agreeing with Hazel for the first time in a while.
"I hope he doesn't buy extra meat. I'm really not in the mood to cook right now!" said Holly from the kitchen "Unless of course, if any one of you both would be kind enough to cook in my place."
"Of course not!" said Heather and Hazel in unison.
"Stop copying me!" mouthed Heather.
"I'm going to my room to kill some time." said Hazel ignoring Heather.
"Okay, goodbye bookworm!" said Heather.
Hazel sighed and dragged her feet up the stairs.
"Aaahh!!" Holly screamed and ran into the living room.
"Now what?" asked Hazel.
"There's a b-bat in the k-kitchen!" stammered Holly.
All three of them went to the kitchen and sure enough, found a bat hanging from the chandelier.
"That's nothing to be scared of. Bats don't bite." said Hazel while opening the windows.
As soon as she opened the windows, the bat flew straight past Hazel and escaped.
"Well, that was easy." said Heather sitting on the nearest chair "It might have entered through the broken windows in Henry's room."
"What can we do? He never listens to us!" said Hazel and continued, turning to Holly "You alright there, Holly?"
"If I'm not mistaken, isn't that some sort of a letter on the chandelier?" asked Holly eyes fixed on it.
"Yes!" asked Hazel "Heather, can you reach it?"
Heather was the tallest of them, even without her four-inch heels. She stood on her tiptoes and swiped the letter in her hand.
"It's from Mr. Delton." she said.
"Nate's dad?" asked Hazel. Holly nodded her head.
Heather opened the letter and her eyes widened with horror. The letter slid out of her hands.
"To the forest! NOW!" cried Heather.

Henry and Jack rushed to Henry's home to find the door ajar. They hurried and burst the door open. Both Henry and Jack started calling out their names.
"Heather! Hazel!"
"Holly!"
No response.
"We're too late!" cried Jack.
"Jack! Look!" said Henry pointing at the letter on the ground. Henry dropped the meat and picked up the letter.
'Henry's in danger.
Come to the forest before it's too late.'
Henry crumpled the paper in his fist, containing his anger.
"They have fallen into his trap! Come on, let's go to the forest!" said Jack "We have to save them!"
