Y/N was exhausted from today's test. She hasn't been studying recently, so she felt that the tests were more challenging for some reason.

The girl walks out of the house.
"Maybe I could go play today.. That would wake me up.."

"Hold on, Y/N"

"Eh?"

Mama walked up to the girl.
"Your collar is a bit crooked." She said, fixing her collar while looking straight into the girl's [eye color] orbs.

"Oh, I didn't notice, hehe."

"Ha, can't even fix your own shirt, huh?" Ray teased

"HEY!" Y/N shouted at him,

In a swift movement, Mom touched the back of
Y/N's ear, moved her hand to her cheek, and caressed it.
"Now Y/N, you go have fun." Mom hummed,

"I will, thanks.." Y/N said, brushing Mom's hand off of her and ran the other direction.

She was checking for my tracker.

It was the next day. Free time had come again yet Ray still hasn't decided to sit at the tree with you again.

Maybe he got tired of me..
He probably likes spending time with Norman and Emma more..

Wait.

What if he likes Norman or Emma?! Does he not like me? Am I annoying or something?

Wait, hold on again.

Why do I even care if he likes them more than me.
I am legit the most boring person ever!

Maybe he's just discussing escape plans with them. Yeah. That's reasonable.

Suddenly, you catch a familiar Raven-haired boy sitting down besides you. Ray rested his head on your shoulder, considering the small height difference, that wasn't too difficult.

"Uhh Ray?"

"Yeah?"

"You're back."

"I was never gone, moron."

"Y-yeah, I knew that."

A few moments of silence passed.

"So uhm, I've been reading this new book lately.. it's called Rapunzel. Have you heard of it?"

Ray thought for a second.
"Yeah, I've read it."

"Oh, well- I really like it so far."

"Pfft, you really like that type of stuff?" He laughed, "Wanna know what I like? It's you..." He whispered to himself,

"Huh? What was that last part."

"Nothing."
Ray lifted his head from your shoulder and caressed your cheek with his hand.
"Listen to me. I would never leave you, Y/N." Ray said sternly before removing his hand from your cheek and looked away. "Especially because you're an idiot and you'd probably trip and die or something stupid like that."
