Victoria Stone was reluctant to love another person ever again, and that was a fact proven by many.

The morning is hazy. Victoria has been unwillingly awoken by none other than her twin brother's black cat. The cat licks her soft pale cheek with its sandpaper tongue. Without hesitation, Victoria man-handles the bothersome cat and hauls it across her dark room.

"Damn't Frankenstein."

The cat waddles to the corner in retaliation, leaving Victoria early awoken. She stretches and removes her thick comforter revealing her skinny and bruised legs that become noticeable as her eyes adjust to the dark.

She sighs at the sight.

She drags herself up and out of bed stumbling towards her door. She opens it slowly with her left hand, her right hand grasping her crotch as she tried not to pee. Dizzy, Victoria catches herself on the nearest wall.

Recovering from the fuzzy head rush, Victoria stands up straight and glides her feet on the floor making her way to the bathroom door. A light glows under the door insinuating it was occupied.

She carelessly pounds on it and cringes at the fact that her parents may still be home and asleep. She wiggles the doorknob. Locked.

"Damn't Victor, Hurry up!" She harshly whispers through her teeth.

She patiently and more quietly knocks on the door.

No response.

She gets on all fours, faced down towards the crack under the door. "Victor fucking Stone." She harshly whispers. "If you don't hurry up in 30 seconds, I'm gonna-"

She see's a shadow approach from under the door.

She's cut off by the sound of the door unlocking. The knob slowly turns and the door pulls open with caution.

Her face meets a pair of Mary-Jane heels. She looks up with a scornful face knowing exactly who stood before her. Her face plunges with utter embarrassment. Alice Lennon. Victoria's ex-best friend and now brother's girlfriend.

Alice's sour face smirks down at Victoria with a pinch of disgust. Alice brushes passed her practically leaping toward's Victor's room.

Standing up, Victoria brushes herself off while still eye-balling the girl who dared show herself that early in the morning. Finally entering the bathroom, Victoria is met with the strong scent of Alice's Chanel perfume. Disgusting.

After finally relieving herself, Victoria flushes and shuffles toward the mirror releasing a hoarse sigh. She lifts up her over-sized shirt revealing her very visible ribs.

After measuring her wrists and waist as the doctor had ordered, Victoria returns to her room sluggishly. To no surprise, the cat rests upon her pillow once more. She plops down on a pillow furthest from the feline. The cat lived up to its name just barely. Frankenstein. Its ginger fur around its eye, its prosthetic back right leg and its snagged tooth brought the creature alive. Victoria would always try to get it through Victor's thick skull that Frankenstein was the scientists name.. Not the monsters name.

"' The Monster ' is the monsters name, dumb ass!"

"Like I give a shit skin and bones, who's cat is it again?"

She turns to the cat and her eye lids grow heavy. She dozes into a peaceful rest which lasts only twenty minutes. She had been awoken once more. Not by the cat licking her face, but by the muffled bursts of pleasure being released from Alice's mouth accompanied by the banging of the backboard of Victors bed.
