I broke into sobs.

This couldn't be happening. This wasn't happening. They were supposed to come to my graduation. Dad was supposed to walk me down the aisle. They were supposed to meet their grand children.

"Y-you're l-lying. D-don't m-make s-stuff l-like t-that u-up!" I said between sobs.

"I'm sorry, Anna." Elsa had started crying too.

I laid my head on the table and sobbed. I'm pretty sure the neighbors could hear.

I stayed like that, crying for about an hour. After a while, no tears were coming out, just screams.

I finally calmed down and realized Elsa had left.

I needed something to get this off my mind. Shopping would do.

I trudged upstairs and slowly knocked on Elsa's door.

"Elsa?" I asked quietly.

No answer.

I turned the knob. It was locked.

"D-do you want to go shopping?" I asked timidly.

Still no answer.

I trudged into my room, flopped on the bed, and started crying again.

The next morning,I decided to go to school. Moping around at home wouldn't do anything for me.

I took the bus. I felt I was too unstable to drive.

The bus was filled with a bunch of screaming middle schoolers. I sat in the front next to a eighth grade boy who kept jumping every time the bus would hit a bump. I decided not to ruin his fun. Just because I was in a bad mood, doesn't mean I had to make everyone in a bad mood.

The bus driver finally pulled into the high school and I got out.

The cool air greeted me as I exited the bus. Students were hustling and bustling around campus with class president campaigns, club sign ups, and after boys.

I avoided my group of friends that sat under the large oak tree. I wasn't in the mood to be comforted.

I walked inside and bought a muffin from the vending machine and ate it slowly.

My day flew by. No teachers dared to snap me out of my daydreams in class.

"Hey, Anna." Chris called to me after the last bell rang.

"Haven't talked to you all day. What's up?"

"Nothing." I mumbled.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine." Tears threatened my eyes.

He stopped talking and walked to the bus.

"Anna," He grabbed my arm.

"Seriously, you aren't leaving until I know."

"You really want to know?" A tear dripped down my cheek.

He watched it trail down my cheek.

"My parents are dead." I took my arm out of his hand and got on the bus.
