As Alexandra and Ash rush through Viridian City covered in scratches and searching for a doctor, they both feel something pulling on their shirts or Alex's case her jacket, forcing them to stop.

Alexandra and Ash both slowly turned around to see what was pulling on their shirts. Eevee brings her head up to my face and rubs it against my face, making me smile seeing that she was getting more comfortable around her. Pikachu looked up at Ash with pained eyes from inside of the jacket he was covered in, wondering why they stop.

Alexandra and Ash then noticed it was Office Jenny who had stopped them. "Hold it! Where do you kids think you're going with those pokemon?" Office Jenny questions the new trainers.

"They're our Pokemon and they're hurt and we've gotta get them to the hospital right away," Ash snapped.

'Well, Pikachu hurt the most, Twilight fine she only took a little bit of damage from us jumping into the water.' Alex thought petting Eevee's head.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you might be stealing them," Office Jenny apologizes. "But it seems that not the case since Eevee seems to like you. Anyway just show me your I.D.s and you can go."

That stumped Ash, but Alex was trying to think if they received some kind of I.D from Professor Oak.

"We don't have I.D. we just got here from Pallet and-" he was then interrupted by Officer Jenny.

"You know, you're the fourth and fifth person. I have seen from Pallet town."

"Fourth and fifth?" Alex asked still trying to recall if they receive an I.D.

"That means Gary Oak here already," Ash realized.

Officer Jenny speaks up again. "It's very unusual for someone to carry their Pokemon in their arms and not in a Pokeball. How do I know you two didn't steal those Pokemon, especially if neither of you has any identification."

"We didn't steal them. Are pokemon just don't like being their pokeballs," Alexandra explained.

"Please let us through. We wouldn't steal a pokemon and we've gotta get Pikachu and Eevee to the hospital. Please Miss," Ash pleaded.

While the twins were talking, Officer Jenny noticed the red and yellow objects in their pockets and asks about them.

"These?" The twins asked pulling it their Pokedex out of their pockets only for officer Jenny to snatch them out of their hands.

"Thes are perfect. Two pokedexes. These will love our problem," she exclaimed. The twins just blink and looked at her confused.

"Let's see," she pokes at Ash's Pokedex. "If you're the real deal."

His Pokedex started to speak. "I'm Dexter, a Pokedex designed by professor Oak for Pokemon trainer, Ash Ketchum, of the town of Pallet. My function is to provide Ash with information and advice regarding Pokemon and their training. If lost or stolen I can't be replaced."
