... Can I get a wahoo? (Also, yes, Sir Cadogan... and also there's a non-canon character called Bem?? I didn't wanna deal with that, though, because I'd never heard of him, so I just replaced him with Dean *shrugs*)
.......... Reader's Point of View ..........
"Hermione, are you serious-"
"Well, yeah, I talked to McGonagall and everything-"
"Why would you WILLINGLY make yourself do, like, a bajillion classes worth of homework?? I DON'T UNDERSTAND?"
Hermione sighed dramatically, "There are just so many classes to take and so little time!"
"But your mental health-"
"-is great!"
"FOR NOW, 'MIONE. FOR NOW."
.......... Harry's Point of View ..........
"So... Quidditch tryouts are coming soon?" Ron said, "But you're probably automatically on the team."
"I hope not," I replied.
"Why not??"
"That seems a little unfair, doesn't it?"
"I guess... You know, I kind of want to be on the team someday."
"Oh, Merlin, if you are then we could both bother Malfoy when we go against Slytherin."
Ron laughed, pushing open another the door as we ascended higher and higher up the tower. "Maybe! Malfoy definitely deserves it. And- wait, where the hell are we?"
"... Honestly, I have no idea. What was the room number again?"
"If only 'Mione were here..." Ron mourned. I snickered, pushing his shoulder.
"Really?"
"Shut up! Besides, it's not like you were upset that (y/n) wasn't taking this class, too!"
I was about to retort something, but-
"Halt! What villains are these that trespass upon my private lands? Who dares challenge Sir Cadogan? Back, you scurvy braggarts, you rogues!" came a voice... in the wall.
I swear, if I start hearing voices in the wall AGAIN this year, I think I might just jump off the Astronomy Tower. Or the Gryffindor Tower... didn't Fred and George say that the Gryffindor Tower was taller?
But then again, that's probably only because they taped a metre stick at the top somehow.
"Er- what?" Ron sputtered, twisting toward the noise.
There! In the... painting?
Is he supposed to be a knight?
"Stand and fight, you mangy cur!" he cried, aiming his sword towards us. His horse seemed unbothered by the whole affair.
"Um... sorry, what?" I asked incredulously.
"You act cowardly, sir! I dare you, challenge me! It may be your last duel yet!"
"Uh- I'm sorry, we're just trying to find Professor Trelawney's room...?" I tried to explain, "We're gonna be late for class, so-"
"Oh! Students, you say? How come you did not just say as such? I will take you there! Follow me, young warlocks!"
What the heck-
The knight mounted his horse and gave what sounded like a battle cry before riding out of the painting. Well, that's... very helpful. We totally know where to go now.
