Jade's POV
"Breanna?"

"Jade?"

"Seems like you two know each other?" Mrs Josephine questioned and we both nodded, not breaking the eye contact.

"Alright then, go to your dorm and settle in" She looked directly at me and I nodded, finally breaking eye contact.

We both left her office I'm awkward silence, I was suddenly not in the mood to speak, to her especially.

We had a past relationship, where she wouldn't believe me and after that she betrayed me and turned the whole school, which is almost like a whole country. She turned them against me.

I was expecting someone else to have done it but that didn't happen, it just had to be my best friend... Ex-best friend.

Flashback
Breanna and I are walking to school, and then we are literally ambushed by the school populars.

"Brea can we speak to you for a moment?" The leader asked directly looking at Brea and she immediately nodded.

Brea most of the time wants to hang out with the popular squad and does literally anything to become one of them.

She went with them and then I waited at my locker for Brea and that's when immediately she came and tapped my shoulder harshly.

I turned around and saw her holding a phone and a drink in her hand.

"What is this?" She said angrily shoving the phone in my face, I saw a picture of a blonde kissing her boyfriend, Jacob.

"What is it?" I asked, unaware of what she's talking about.

"Don't play dumb, I know that's you kissing my boyfriend!" She exclaimed angrily and by now we had attracted a crowd.

"That looks nothing like me" I disagreed in disbelief, but seriously it isn't me, I know the girl is one of the populars and I never wear that type of slutty clothe.

"Stop lying, I know it's you, you always seem to be angry whenever I mention Jacob" She said getting angrier.

"That's because he's a Playboy, you don't seem to notice because you are blinded by the oh so called love, and even then I try to warn you, you just brush it and go to the Son of a freaking baboon!" I exclaimed and that's when I felt it...a slap on my freaking cheek.

"Don't you ever call my boyfriend a player or an SOB" She said and it was quiet then.

She then noticed what she had done and was about to apologize but Jada, the leader of the populars came up to her.

"Dump the drink on her" She said while smirking.

"Bu-" Breanna started but she was cut off by Jada.

"Do it and you will be part of the populars" She said and then Breanna looked between Jada and I, I thought she wasn't gonna do it.

But the odds weren't in my favour.

She dumped the disgusting smoothie over my hair and it dripped down to my favourite clothes, she knew it was my favourite.

And then the populars walked away, with Breanna beside them and that's when I felt the tears flow down.

Not because my hair and clothes were stinking, or because people were taking pictures and calling me names, but because the person who I thought was my best friend slapped me, then betrayed me.

End of Flashback

And since that day, people called me names, pulled pranks on me and Breanna not even once did she ever try to approach me.

Not once.

Then I had to change schools, because the pain was getting too much to bear and I eventually became depressed and it was horrible.

And here I am trying to avoid those thoughts on them cause the memories I had with Breanna all end up with me crying.

"Look Jade, I'm sor-" She started but I cut her off.

"Don't start with that, you don't know the pain I went through, when your dad was sick, I went with you to the hospital and my family was having a wedding, but when my dad died where were you? Oh yeah enjoying with the popular squad, so don't even come to me and apologize. I may forgive you but I will never trust you, you lost that when you spread my secrets around the whole school, All because you wouldn't believe me" I said as tears were about to fall.

"Show me our dorm, I need to get some rest" I murmured but she heard.

"Jadey-" She started but again I cut her off.

"It's Jade, you also lost that privilege, I want to hate you but I just can't and I don't know why, now don't make me regret my decision of coming to this school and show me where our freaking dorm is" I shouted at her sadly.

She looked away, the expression guilt was all over her face, she pointed a finger towards the stairs and I ran there trying not to let the tears slip.

I searched for my dorm number and when I finally got there, I ran in without knocking and I saw three girls there arguing with three boys while the two others just sat there watching TV.

"Is that her?" I heard the guy with the cool hair asked looking directly at me but I ignored all their stares and shoved past them.

I went to the room where Breanna said would be mine and threw my bags, I locked the doors and threw my face flat on the bed and cried myself to sleep.

I'm already hating this all because of one person.

I made this chapter kind of different, cause most of them, they bump into their friends but I thought it'd be nice if its different :)
Any who hey and it's currently 5:43PM and I didn't even sleep well and I had exams yesterday...
And it was my freaking BIRTHDAY.
Hopefully, I'll enter the school... I'm really tired so I'm gonna sleep right now.
