Victor didn't have a bike so I just walked with him dragging my bike along.
"Where do you live y/n?" he asked.
"I'll show you. Wait, what if we live near each other?"
"That'd be nice! We could hang out after school." I smiled at the thought of that. After a while of walking, we finally made it to my house.
"This is it," I said.
"Cool, I live just a bit further down that road. See that gray house over there?" Victor pointed down the street at a large new house.
"Wow, we're really close."
"Yeah we are...oh by the way y/n, want my number?"
"Oh, yeah. I'll give you mine too." As we grab our phones in our backpacks, we exchange them to type in our numbers. "Okay, here you go." He returns my phone to me and I do the same.
"Bye I guess. I'll text you!"
"Okay then," Victor said as he turned around and walked towards his house. I giggled to myself. Is he...more than a friend? I carelessly set my bike onto the lawn and entered my house. I rushed up the stairs to my room without greeting my parents and I leaped onto my bed. I snatched my phone out of my pocket and texted "hey" to the number saved into my phone as Victor. In just a minute I got a reply from him, and for what felt like the rest of the day we just texted each other until I had to take a shower and get to bed. Thinking back I smirked to myself as I remembered we almost kissed. Is this what love feels like?
