{kylie's pov}
Luke had left me, maybe twenty minutes ago to do something for Alec? I think that's his name. I'm not sure. I didn't want to go with him this time because I learned some things I really didn't want to know last time. He was protective of me, he wanted me to come with him, but I refused not wanting to get hurt again. Before Luke left he told me to lock the doors and keep the blinds closed because Jax was still looking for him. I tried to ask Luke why he was coming after him, but he would just change the subject and tense up.

I sat alone in his dark living room with only a single lamp on as a source of light. I remember Luke telling me to limit the amount of noise I make and lights I have on.

I scrolled mindlessly through tumblr and my email waiting for Luke to come home to me.

I wasn't the kind of person to be alone because when I was I would start thinking and my mind would overpower me like it always does.

I heard a tap on the window. I stilled in my spot on the couch, waiting to see if it would happen again. Two minutes later, it happened again and I heard the all too familiar voice.

"Kylie, open the fucking window," I heard Luke yell. I walked over to the window and opened it to see that Luke had climbed the fire stairs up to his flat.

"What the hell are you doing?" I ask confused.

"Jax is here, Kylie. We need to leave now." Luke walked into the bedroom grabbing a box while I grabbed my jacket, getting ready to climb back down the way he came.

Luke grabbed a gun out of the box and threw it into his room. He tucked the gun into the back of his black jeans and walked over to me giving me a quick kiss on the lips.

"Why do you have a gun, Luke?" I whisper a little too harshly.

"Protection, Kylie. Now climb," he says loading the gun and pushing in the clip and then once again placing it in the back of his jeans. I did as he said and started climbing down onto the stairs, but then the door slammed open in his flat. Luke looked up staring at the two men who had just walked in.

I stood still waiting to see what was going to happen. There was no way I was leaving without him.

"Oh look who it is, Jax would like to have a word with you," the dark haired man told Luke, as he grabbed him by the shoulders. Luke pushed away from the man, punching him flat in the face. Luke grabbed the gun out of his jeans and shot each of the men in the shoulder making sure they couldn't follow, but wouldn't die either.

As the gunshots went off I winced at the sound, frozen to my spot.

"Kylie, fucking move!" Luke yelled and I turned, running down the stairs as fast as I could. Luke and I didn't bother with the helmets and we got on his Harley. Luke kicked up the kickstand as the one of the men with the gunshot came out firing his gun up into the air. Luke's knuckles turned white as he gripped the handles speeding off into the blackness of the night.

{luke's pov}
"Fuck, Michael, they came at me. One of the guys had a gun."

"No, no. Michael, Kylie was half way down the stairs. She didn't see anything. Look, I shot them because I was protecting what's mine. If they had saw Kylie, they would have kidnapped her."

"Okay, bye."

Kylie walked out of her kitchen and into the living room where I was having a frustrating conversation with Michael. Jax is going to be even more hell-bent to find me now. Damnit, why does everything happen to me.

I looked down at my knuckles as she walked into the room. My hands were going to have permanent scaring after all the shit I had been through these past couple of weeks. I just wanted to protect my princess.

"Luke?" I heard her sweet voice ask.

"Yes, princess?" I sigh.

"Would they really kidnap me?" She asks timidly.

I sigh once again walking towards her. "I would never let that happen," I whisper against her neck. She was mine and I wanted her to know it.

Kylie, I have a question."

"Yes?"

"Will you, Kylie Evers, be my girlfriend?" I ask chuckling knowing it was a cheesy question.

"Luke.. yes dumbass. You didn't even have to ask," she says laughing and I join her, once again nibbling at her neck. I trailed kisses along her jaw and up to her neck. They were sloppy and wet, but she was mine. God, she was amazing. She was my little lady and probably my entire world. Jax would never get to her.

"Let daddy, show you that you're mine."
