In The End (Sequel to Savior)

4th Chapter "Answer"

CC's POV

I went over to Scar's place when her, Rach, and Amanda went out to view people who were auditioning for spots in the band. So, when the door had opened revealing Kate after I had knocked she was shocked. I asked if I could enter and she said of course even though neither Scar, Maddie and Rach were home. I told her I knew and that I had come to take her and Justin out to eat for lunch, my treat. After waiting in the living room for five minutes I greeted Justin and I thanked him for letting me take them out.

We were at Olive Garden and we had just gotten our appetizer, lasagna fritta, bread sticks, and a salad. I explained to them that not I only did I want to discuss something them but I also wanted to know more about them. Kate smiled with a nice gleam in her eye while Justin stayed in the father physique but thanked me. So, I started off with a personal question, why did you adopt Rebekah?

Justin looked down and Kate explained to me that they wanted an older daughter for Maddie, someone close that she could look up to. But that they also wanted someone that was a good person in a bad situation. Rebekah fitted that for them especially with already looking like she belonged. They knew because she looked so much like Justin that the tabloids were going to want answers and start rumors. Which was when she became known as Justin's little sister that was found after so many years. The girl never spoken of who was the deepest darkest secret of Justin's family.

The only people who knew this wasn't true were the ones closest to them. So we all had to keep this secret. After reminiscing on this I thought aloud, "Why don't you get a DNA test to see if you are actually kin to one another Justin?"

Justin's head then shot up at me with shock in his eyes. "We have, Chris, but we are keeping the results from her..."

I didn't want to press further into the matter so I changed the subject, the subject to why I first brought then out of the house.

Our food arrived before I could discuss the matter with them so after a few bites I said, "I asked you two out for another matter."

"Well speak of it son please before we get even older." Kate giggled along with Justin and I at her response.

"I would like to know if you would give me the privilege to ask Rebekah's hand in marriage. If you say n-"

"You may," they both responded with smiles holding hands.

"-o then I understand, I won't ask again until later in the future."

They smiled and Justin responded again, "You may have her hand in marriage my boy. And I thank you for saying that you would ask in the future if we had said no."

"Thank you sir, but I'm curious, why are letting me marry her? As far as I know you don't like but get along with me for Bekah's sake."

"I used to dislike you but I grew a fondness over you son. You bring light into her world no matter how she feels. You make the house shine even more than Maddie can. I've always thought of you as a son and now I can truly say you are."

***Arriving back to their house***

We all walk upstairs to see if either of the girls are back, which they aren't. Kate leaves to get Maddie and Alana from school, leaving me and my future father-in-law alone. I sit on Scar's(Bekah's) bed just as Justin walks in holding several pieces of paper.

"Here you should like at these. Afterwards all of your questions should be answered. If you do have any then just come into the practice room and we'll talk." He says before handing me the papers and walking downstairs.

Low and behold it's her birth certificate, his birth certificate, the DNA test, the adoption papers, finger printings, and facial matches. I'm in awe looking at these and I start wondering of they have the same or close medical problems.

Just then as I get up to go downstairs to Justin I see some envelopes. Each one has a name on it... I start thinking of the worst and yell out his name while calling Scar and ripping open my envelope and running downstairs.
