While you are standing outside, your phone buzzes. It's a call from your Mum.

"Hi Mum."

"Hello darling, my car's in the shop. Could you get me a few things, please?"

Being the wonderful child you are, you oblige.

"Uhh... yeah, sure. What do you need?"

"Some chicken breasts, milk and eggs please. Is that ok?"

"Sure thing Mum, I'll be over soon."

"Thanks, sweetheart. Bye!"

"Bye."

You sigh. You guess you may as well go to the shops. When you get there, you have no trouble finding the things you need, and drive to her house.

However, she isn't there.

"Knowing her, she's taking her dog for a walk"  You think to yourself.

You place the shopping bag onto the kitchen counter, but notice something strange. There are four other bags there, each with the same ingredients. In some of them, the food has gone bad. Your Mum would never play tricks on you.

In a panic, you call the police, worrying about your Mum. When they arrive, you just stand outside thinking to youself. The policemen discuss what they think.

"It's not uncommon for people with schizophrenia to experience hallucinations and voices in their head."

Your phone buzzes in you pocket. It's a call from your Mum.
