As I was running towards our room, I collided with someone. I looked up to see Rey with a stupid grin on his face.

I glared daggers at him and his grin vanished.

"Did I do something?", he asked softly, "You look mad"

"That's because I am mad", I spat angrily. "You knew about it. You knew about her the whole fucking time and still kept me in dark. I thought that you are my friend too, but I was wrong", I yelled and ran away pushing past Dom who just stood there witnessing the whole thing .

I locked the room and tears started flowing down my eyes.

How could he? It is not like I forced him into this relationship. And what about the mate bond? He disrespected something as sacred as mate bond. Am I not good enough? Am I even worse than a prisoner?

Various thoughts started paving their way in my mind and I just remained on the bed and cried my eyes out.

My heart refused to believe that he could ever cheat on me but my brain was adamant on believing what my eyes saw.

I heard someone knocking on the door. Caleb.

"Baby please listen to me. It's not what you think. That girl.. you can come with me and ask her as well. Today is the first time I met her and it is not what you think. Please open the door and let me explain", he literally begged me to open the door.

"Yes Lilly, it is not like you think it is.  She is the girl those rogues were looking for. Caleb just went there to ask some questions", this time it was Rey.

"Oh really, since when interrogations started including embracing and comforting the prisoners? Is this how you treat every fucking prisoner because if that's so, I might as well go and sit in a fucking cell. At least that way I'll know that the guy  is hugging me for asking questions and it is nothing serious ", I spat bitterly.

"Will you fucking listen to me?", Caleb yelled frustrated and kind of mad at the mention of other guys.

"I am listening"

"Please open the door", he said gently.

"No. Go away. Go to that girl. I am sure she is so fucking better than me ", I yelled.

And silence. Did he really left?

"I am giving you 30 fucking minutes to cool down and if you don't open the door when I come back, I am going to break it down", he said anger evident in his tone.

Thirty minutes my ass.

I woke up with a loud thud and in the next moment, someone was on the top of me, grabbing my wrists hard and I winced in pain.

"Now listen to me very carefully", Caleb whispered in my ears.

"That girl, she is Elyza and she means nothing to me. We are going to return her back to that rogue, Cassie's mate, and his brother. That's all. She is mute, and very, very scared. And she hugged me before I could even react. And  not in the way you think. She scurried away from me immediately after she did it. There is nothing going on between us. I am yours and yours only. I am loyal to you and I will be loyal to you for the rest of my life. I love you and only you"

A feeling of guilt and joy both filled my heart. I looked up to see Caleb already staring at me.

"I am sorry", I spoke gently.

"Don't be. But next time please just listen to me first without jumping to conclusions "

"Oh! So there's going to be a next time?", I raised my eyebrows.

"One hell of a possessive mate I've got", Caleb chuckled and placed his forehead over mine.

"You broke the door again", I muttered.

'But you won't open it. I was restless and Drew was even more restless. I had to do it"

I rolled my eyes at that.

"I was sleeping"

"I was literally shouting my lungs out. How could you sleep when I was making so much noise?", he asked, his eyes wide in astonishment.

I just shrugged and got up. He sat beside me.

"So if she is Elyza, then why did her brother..."

"Because she looks like you. Exactly like you. Just the color of eyes is different ", Caleb sighed out.

What? My look alike?

I am intrigued.

"I want to meet her"

"Why?"

"I just want to meet my look alike", I shrugged.

He sighed.

"I don't know if it's a good idea. I mean she gets scared very easily. It's been a year since she is here and she never shared any information with anyone. Moreover she is mute. It looks as if something really awful happened to her. I just don't what her to be overwhelmed when she sees you", he sighed.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"I need to go back to Dom. I need to tell him about all this new information and discuss what to do further", he said kissing me goodbye.

Even though Caleb refused me to see her but I have this gut feeling that there's more to her story. I need to see Elyza.
