"Hey babe ", I texted Samuel . It was just another boring  day in my mundane life.

"Hey , I am caught up in the middle of something. Can't talk rn", I received his text and let out a frustrated sigh.

As you might have guessed by now, Samuel is my boyfriend. We've been together since two years. And initially, he was very good to me. He is the type of the guy whose actions speak louder than his words and from the past few weeks, his actions are screaming only one thing- that he is not interested anymore!

I don't even know why he is behaving like this. What have I even done to deserve this?

Suddenly my phone started ringing while i was still thinking about my relationship issues. It was Stella, one of my only two friends , and by only two, I really mean it. But you know what, quality over quantity!

"Hey Stella!  What's up? "

"You know that  guy Chris that i matched with on TrulyMine", she said and i could feel the excitement bubbling in her just by her tone.

"The one that's been sending you cheesy texts since you matched but is too shy to ask you on a date , well yes i remember him"

"Well that's about to change because i am finally going on a date with him", she squealed loudly.

My poor eardrums.

"About time. I thought that by the time he asks you for a date, your ovaries would've closed the egg factory", i said while laughing.

"Oh my God, Lilly.  Shut up", she said bashfully, "Also, I can't hang out with you tonight. There's this family thing. I am sorry. "

I groaned internally. I just spent all my day alone . I can't... Why God why?
But what choice do i even have?

"It's okay Stella . We'll hangout tomorrow and I'll be fine. I'll just watch something on Netflix. "

"Umm.. okay", she said, " I will make it up to you though", she added quickly

"Yeah and have fun at your date but not too much fun", I said in a playful tone.

" Yeah, yeah", she laughed it off.

Now for those of you wondering about TrulyMine, it's a dating app. That's where I found Samuel. TrulyMine is what Instagram was like when my parents were my age.

So basically, you are living under a rock if you don't have a profile on this app.

After my conversation with stella,  I decided to spent some hours doing homework. I put my phone on silent mode and started doing it.

When I checked the time, it was already 9 in the evening.

I was exhausted after doing all this and decided to check my phone.

After aimlessly scrolling my TrulyMine feed for some time, I got bored.
Since when did my life got so boring?

My feed right now is full of couples from my class going out and having fun. And here I am giving company to my bed.

I scrolled and saw a post from Tiffany,  'the mean girl '

"My baby daddy built me a floating bed. How can I not marry him?", along with a picture of floating bed.

First of all, cringeeeeee.

Second, is she dating Bob the builder or something?

Just then a message popped up. I saw from the notification board to see that it is a message in my history class group from Ms. Smith. And just to let you all know, this is by far the worst class. Like seriously worst.

"Hello my exceptionally intelligent students (note the sarcasm) , I would like you all to submit your project tomorrow which you all should have submitted two weeks ago , otherwise most of you will fail and will repeat the class and make my life hell the next year too "

I scoffed. Who sends a text like that to their students? She is always so rude and on the verge of murdering someone. She gets irritated very easily and sometimes I even think if that's how she is since diaper days or did something bad happened that turned her this sour.

Bored out of my mind and with nothing else to do I finally decided to drift off to sleep

Okay guys, so i am editing this book. It's midnight right now and i have nothing better to do so yeah 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So a short and boring first chapter,  ehh???

But further chapters will be far more interesting I promise.

One more thing, I don't want to leave this book incomplete so I decided that I will publish the first chapter only when I have written at least half chapters of the books. So yeah , here I am publishing the first three chapters on 17 September,  2020.

Update- Hey guys, so it 10 October today and I have officially finished this book.
