Chapter 5

"Taeil, wake up. We are at the cabin."
Mom told me while she and dad were unpacking that I should go ahead and wake Taeil from the car.

"Sehee!"
He yelled waking up in the midst of dreaming Taeil looks at me and quickly pulls me into a hug.

"Taeil, you'll kill me if you squeeze me any longer."
I said almost wheezing out my words and he let me go then looks at our surroundings. He's just as confused as I was.

"Where are we?"

"The cabin for the week trip mom and dad brought us on, why?"

"But weren't we just-"

"Taeil, Sehee! Come inside your mom is ordering take ou!"
Our dad yelled from the front door of the cabin so I stick a thumbs up in the ar then turn back to Taeil.

"Say it later tonight, mom's ordering food. We should go or she'll only get veggies."
I said quickly dragging him out of the car and to the cabin.

"Sehee, I know this sounds crazy, but mom and dad aren't our real parents."
Taeil held my shoulders and looked at me dead serious. Did he have a dream like mine?

"Taeil, what did you-"

"We went to a noodle shop while getting followed. Then we went we wnet to a police station meeting an officer with the surname Lee, that's what we called him. Officer Lee. We told him things about our parents and they investigated for 3 weekd straight. We got attacked as soon as we were supposed to go back home and wait for the police to arerest our parents."

"Y-You had the same dream?"
I stuttered in pure amazement and Taeil looks at me in confusion.

"You though something we just lived through and was that vivid...was a dream?"

"Well, it's completely possible. I woke up and asked mom why we were with them and- oh god."

"What's wrong Sehee?"
A horrifying realizaton hit me.

"I didn't tell her about the noodle shop, or the police station..."
Fright flew over me and Taeil looked like he shared my feelings.

"So s-she just knew?"
I nod and Taeil then began pacing. So it's all true, they took us out here because they knew. Then what happened with our real families? What about officer Lee? What's going on?

"What do we do?"
I asked Taeil and he just stops pacing.

"We have to get out, but we need a plan."
