Chapter 8

Hanbin's been helping us for a week. We have a diagram of the house that locates bugs and cameras by red and blue dots. We know the blin spots. We don't use them, Everything that we know is all thanks to Hanbun being a great sneak. Next week Mom and dad are leaving us and Hanbin alone in the house together. An entire week, seven days to escape. Easy right? Not exactly. We have to go back to Gangnamgu and see officer Lee again. Then we should be able to get out of these crazy people's grip. Hanbin also told us that there were going to be people watching the house 24/7. Mom and dad's bodyguards. They are there to keep us in the house.


"Sehee!"
Mom yells from the study so I jump up and run to the study and she just looks at me with a soft smile.

"Yeah, mom?"

"Do you like Hanbin?"
My heart then began to pound. I had actually thought about that question myself recently.

"I-I don't know. W-why?"

"Cause Taeil tells me you two flirt a lot."
Mom softly signals me to sit down so through my storm of feelings I do so.

"You know he's older than you?"
She goes on as she begins to brush my hair softly.

"By two years, yes. Why do you ask though?"
She laughs then ties my hair into a ponytail.

"He asked you on a date tonight that's all."

"Realy?!"
I jump up out of excitement and look at her. Her smile was genuine and sweet filled with excitement.

"You can go as long as you return his feelings."
She said standing up rubbing my shoulders.

"I think I do."
I look down with blush and mom giggles.

"I'll be at work tonight, me and your father are coming back late tonight. Your father knows too so don't come home any later than midnight, got it?"

"But what about-"

"Go have fun Sehee."
Mom chuckled and I smiled widely and ran up to take a shower.
