Chapter 22

Mrs. Kim, Hanbin, and Hanbyul just got back. It's 8:38 pm. Kevin got back at 5 pm. And well everyone ate, including us.

"How about we watch Spongebob Hangyul?"
I said sitting with her on the couch.

"Unnie let's watch Little Dino Dooly!"
I remember watching that show when I was younger I don't know if they still air it though. I actually thought it stopped at like 2014 or something. It started...1987...a good 13 years before I was born. I really liked it when I was little, I remember watching it in the living room with Taeil and Mr. Kim. The one who claimed to be our dad. It's amazing how long it's been on if it still airing.

"It's ok Sehee, give me a second and I'll connect my phone to the TV and I'll play it for her."
Hanbin's mom said and I just smile nodding and then I start to walk to my room.

"Little Dino Dooly."
I softly smile as I type it into the laptop in front of me. Episode 1, the birth of Dooly. I click the episode on youtube and start to watch it. All starting with that Ice burg. Jaemin walks in and sits by me on the floor and watches it with me before making comment when the ice burg hit the Han River bridge.

"Dino Dooly? We haven't watched this scene we were really young."
He says and I smile.

"A sense of nostalgia hit me when Hanbyul brought it up."
I just giggled before we continued to watch the show.

"Go away, you're annoying me."
Jaemin said at the same time as the boy in the show.

"Yeah, it's a raccoon isn't it Oppa?"
The little girl went on then something flashed.

"Oppa look! I found a raccoon!"
It was a skunk. I fed it bread and then it followed me home. I was only 6 at the time so Jaemin knew better than I did.

"That's a skunk Sehee! They stink get away from the house!"
Jaemin yelled at me, but I just smiled as I watched the striped creature sniff my front yard. I remember where we lived now. We lived in the outskirts of Busan at the time.

"Jaemin don't yell at your sister! What's going on?"
My mom was beautiful. She had such pretty, flowy, dark brown hair that only made me jealous. Her smile neat, white, and compliments her always rosy cheeks. Jaemin looks more like mom than me. I didn't mind though now that I remember one thing. My mom always looked and talked livelily. She was strong.

"Sehee! I told you not to feed animals unless they are dogs or cats!"
My mom said with an irritated tone but an amused smile.

"I'm sorry, he was just hungry."
I started to cry. Then mom rushed and picked me up quickly tapping my back trying to comfort the fragile little soul that had stayed in my body.

"It's ok baby, I'm sure he's grateful huh?"
I sniffled a bit and then nodded still holding onto my mom like I had almost gotten hit by a car at that moment.

"Jaemin take your sister inside, go watch some TV and eat some snacks ok?"
Mom said before grabbing the phone. I never saw that skunk after cartoons and snacks.

"Sehee are you ok?"
Jaemin shook me back to my reality and I felt tears streaming down my face.

"Did you remember something?"
Jaemin asked and I just smile nodding.

"How did mom die?"
I asked him and he just became teary.

"Heart attack from witnessing a car crash right in front of her."
So she died from shock with a weak heart.

"I remember mom being beautiful."
I said tears streaming down my face and Jaemin just smiled whipping my tears away.

"She was it's a good thing you remember. You're just as beautiful."
Though I felt he was wrong I just smile and settle into the soft, gentle, warm hug that Jaemin pulled me into.

"Did you hear a knock on the door?"
Hanbin asked me as we get unbundled from cuddling under blankets and stuff while we watched TV. I nod and he just looked slightly worried as he checked the time. 12:46. Theis time we heard the knock on the door again, but it was moore aggressive as it woke everyone up. Hanbin's mom softly smiles before she completely tried to wake up and open the door.

"Who is it?"
Ms. Kim asked and no one answered so she opened the door only to get knocked to the ground in aan instant leaving everyone in shock. Hanbin and Hanbyul ran by they're mom before anything else happened.

2 men and 1 women walked in with big smirks only eyeing me and Taeil.

"Mom, dad, Choi-Choi Minho?"
I said in an instant Mr. nad Mrs. Kim are back for me and Taeil and they brought our old babysitter with them?

"Sehee, Taeil, it's time to go home."
Mom said and then me and Taeil spoke in synce then Hanbin hung onto me (though I found it cute I had to ignore it) while I questioned them.

"What??"
