Society Of The Broken

Chapter 1

                        Romans pov

School had just broke out and I am currently walking home with my best friend, Logan crofters.

"I'm telling you Lo Mrs what's her face is so mean! Saying I can't audition till I get my english grades up" I state with a huff. I audition for every school play that comes about but my stupid english teacher won't allow it till I get my grades up. The nerve.

"Well Roman she does have a point, your tied with Remus for worst in the class!" He exclaimed throwing his arms out in front of him.

"UGH! Don't remind me, he may be my twin but we are nothing alike" I proclaim startling a few birds out of a nearby tree.

Remus and I are twins and heirs to the Prince family fortune but we could not be more of polar opposites, don't get me wrong I love him but... you'll see.

"This is my road, see you later Roman" announced Logan as he turned and headed down a diffrent path to me, waving as he went.

I continued onto the same path I take everyday on my way home, I use to get lifts home but Farther said he wanted to' teach me a lesson' so to say.

"Leave me alone!" Screamed a panicked voice from a nearby ally, wasting no time I rush of towards the sound of the scream only to witness who large guys, who I recognise as Tommy and Sid from school, beating up a small boy in a black hoodie and ripped jeans. Don't recognise him, but that's not important right now.

"Hey look it's dancer boy!" Laughted Tommy who was soon joined by Sid in his laughter. I once danced as part of a roll I was playing in a school play, thought most of the teasing still continues despite it being almost a year now.

"Very orginal though right now I'm more concerned for this random kid you decided needed a beating" squaring up I took in my chances of winning a fight against these two giants. Both were bigger then me as well as taller but a true hero never runs from a fight.

"Let's dance, though we already know your good at it" Sid was never the most orginal with his insults.

I'm not quite sure who threw the first punch but the rest of the fight consisted of me dodging punches all whilst throwing punches of my own, I needed to get the shot that would count.

Ducking once again I faked left then right before catching Tommy off guard and punching him hard in the bise causing it to break on impact.

"Shit!" Screamed Tommy as he feel to his knees clutching his nose as he went, this reaction caused Sid to take off running. He was always the more cowardly of the two.

"Get out of here before I break your arm as well" Tommy scrambled up and quickly followed after his friend, not even taking a moment to call my bluff.

Standing there in pride I almost forgot the reason for all this but one quick look around the ally and I found the boy sitting on the floor clutching his knees.

"Hey are you ok?" I asked calmly to the obviously distressed boy and when I got no answer I just calmly took a seat beside him in silence. We stayed in silence for a solid two minuets before I got my answer.

"I'm-I'm ok" he said timidly as he slowly lifted his head up to meet my eyes. He looked so much younger up close, well aside from the black eye which only aided in making him look even more tired especially with the layers of eyeshadow covering both eyes. His cheeks were sunken in and made him look as thought he had not eaten in days, overall he looked terrible. Thought there was no doubt beauty was hidden under all those bruises and make-up.

"I'm Roman" I stated looking at him expectingly but when I got nothing in return I continued "If you want to tell me your name you could use a fake one if it makes you more comfortable"

This caused the boy to give a slight smile as he continued to clutch onto his knees, for a minute I thought I would get no answer till he finally spoke in the same quite shakey tone.

"Ca-call me Anx-Anxiety"

Hope you guys enjoyed chapter one of this new story, I originally wrote the chapter on paper so it may explain the short paragraphs but it's won't be that way for the next chapter. Please comment if you wish for me to continue.
