A New Family

I had woken up strangely early this morning, i looked down and quickly noticed Tabby wasn't there, panic overcame me as i stood up and looked around. To my relief, Tabby was still in my room, i noticed he was cleaning up and organizing everything that wasn't in place. I softly smiled and sat up, slightly scratching the back of my head, "morning Tabby" he looked at me with a smile, "good morning Stretch, i started cleaning up a bit, i hope you dont mind" i chuckled a bit, "i dont mind" i said as i stood up. "You probably haven't met my brother yet, would you like to?" He seemed to get a bit excited as he nodded, "yes please" i was glad to see how much his state of mind has changed overnight. I gently grabbed his hand and headed out of the room with him, right as i opened the door, i saw Blue, who was right about to knock on the door. Before Blue could say his usual good morning or ask me why im up so early, he noticed Tabby, his eyes turned into stars as his face lit up with pure curiosity and joy. "Oh my gosh! Hi! Im Blue, what's your name??" Blue was clearly excited to meet someone new, "hi, im Tabby, its nice to meet you Blue" he said with a smile. "Ive never met a skeleton other than me and Papyrus before! Where are you from??" Tabby was about to respond to Blue when his expression seemed to lose its joy, I quickly stepped in. "Um, Blue?" I knew i couldn't leave Tabby alone, so i had to talk about it infront of him, i could only hope i wouldn't cause him too much stress. "This isn't your fault in any way, but Tabby's been through some things" Blue's expression quickly changed from joyful and excited to caring and wary, "oh stars, im so sorry! Whatever you went through, just remember, the magnificent Sans is always here to help!" Tabby seemed to regain some joy as he smiled and looked at blue with content, "its ok, thank you so much" he said softly, i then let out a sigh of relief. (Having a new addition to the family seems like a pretty good idea, especially if it ment a new friend for Blue) i thought to myself as i then asked "hey Blue, whats for breakfast?" Blue's face lit up once again as he grabbed both me and Tabby's hand and practically dragged us along to the kitchen, he and Tabby giggled, they were both so joyful and happy. Blue stopped once inside the kitchen, the scent of pancakes and bacon filled the air, "i wasn't expecting a guest so i didn't make three plates, but dont worry Tabby! We can share! Theres plenty to go around!" Blue said as we all sat down to eat.
After some time of Blue practically dragging us around the underground to show Tabby around, we were on our way home. I stayed behind a bit so i could take my opportunity to do what i was planning to do since we first left the house, i swiped up some snow and compacted it into a ball, i quickly threw it at Blue, hitting him in the shoulder. Blue let out a yelp of surprise, he soon turned around and looked at me, i of course played it off with my usual relaxed expression. "Papyrus!" Blue said in a half annoyed half playful tone, "what? Oh come on, dont give me the 'cold' shoulder" Tabby giggled at my pun which caused me to chuckle, but before i could say or do anything else i was met with a snowball to my face, this caused me to fall into a pile of snow. They both started laughing as i wiped the snow from my face, i laughed as well, it made me so happy to see them both like this. I felt like everything was actually going to end well for us, but i knew i couldn't forget about that horrible monster that hurt Tabby, he was still out there and he could come after us, but i know no matter what I'll protect both of them with my life, they are both so precious to me.
