Nat and Tony didn't saw anything, and the others didn't push them. Around 20 minutes later, Bruce came out of the medbay. Tony jumped up and ran over.

"Is he ok? Was his head injury severe?" Tony questioned. Bruce looked over at him.

"Yes, he'll be fine. He woke up again but I put him under, so he should be asleep for a bit. I expect he will heal quickly, especially since..well.."

Steve finally spoke up, tired of the secrecy surrounding the identity of Spiderman.

"Come one guys, just tell us what's wrong. I mean, we've never seen Nat react like that. Did he have really bad physical scarring? Was he yelling for his kids? What was it?"

Tony looked over at Nat, who glanced at him and her eyes seemed to say you explain.

"Well, I found Spiderman in a mess of glass and blood, and there was this doctor working on him. The doctor had done a lot, but as he was handing me Spiderman he said "don't be surprised". I had no idea what he meant, but right as i entered the medbay Spiderman's face cover fell off and...well...I would bargain to say he's no older than 16, maybe 17."

"Actually, I'm 15, but nice guess."

Peter's POV

Peter woke up, head and body throbbing. He looked around at the glaring lights, and noticed the strong smell of sterilisation. Sitting up, he was surprised by how ok he felt. Peter found the source of that when he noticed the IV in his arm, pumping him full of nutrients. His heart rate increased as he thought he was in a hospital for a second, but then remembered the events of that day, and being carried by Stark to the tower. That, and the SI sweatpants sitting on the nearby bench, were pretty good clues that Peter was in the Avenger's tower. He stressed out again realising his mask was off his face. Shit he thought, now they know I'm just a stupid teenager.

Sighing, Peter pulled on the sweatpants and tshirt that were left for him. He stretched a bit, still surprised by how well the IV had worked. He opening the medbay door and glanced down a long hallway, were he noticed someones back turned to the hallway. Silently walking down, he began to pick up on what the figure was saying.

"...cover fell off and...well...I would bargain to say he's no older than 16, maybe 17."

"Actually, I'm 15, but nice guess."

Peter stood at the doorway, and looked around as all the faces turned to look at him. He felt himself get anxious when he realised that, like, everyone was there. The very same people he had grown up idolising. Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, the Winder Soldier, and more were all just sitting there, mouths open staring at him. Peter rubbed the back of his neck, uncomfortable with all the attention.

"How are you awake? The anaesthesia I gave you should have knocked you out for at least 30 more minutes," said Bruce Banner. Peter had immediately recognised him and was internally fangirling.

"Oh, I-i have a enhanced metabolism. You know, st-stuff processes through my body really quickly," Peter answered, looking at his feet. No one said anything for a couple seconds until Captain America spoke up.

"I knew I recognised you from somewhere! You're the student I saw in the bathroom at that school a couple weeks ago. How did you go from that to a crime fighting vigilante? You said you're 15?"

Peter opened his mouth to answer but Black Widow spoke up.

"Kid," she said softly. "Were you...trained to do this? I've seen children soldiers before. Many of them are a lot like you. Skilled warriors, but forced to do horrible things at atrociously young ages. You're not a, a, child solder are you?"

Peter shook, he head, not failing to notice to obvious breath the assassin let out.

"No, I-uh, got there powers when I was 13. It's a long story, I'll explain it another time as-oh my god. What time is it? I need to call someone! He's gonna be worried sick."

Peter frantically began looking around for a phone.

"Can I borrow someone's phone? It'll just be a second." Tony leaned forward, offering his fancy Stark phone. Peter paused for a second, noticing it was an unrealised model.

"Are you calling your parents?" he asked.

"No, both dead," was all Peter said before turning around and holding the phone to his ear. Cap took a sharp breath in as all the Avengers heard yelling come from the small metal device in the boys hand.

"I SWEAR TO GOD PETER PARKER," came out of the phone. Peter held it further from his face, it was so loud. "I THOUGHT YOU DIED. I DIDNT KNOW WHAT HAPPE-"

"Ned, Ned, I'm fine. Calm down,"he glanced back towards everyone sitting on the couch. "Keep it down, I have an audience."

From there the Avengers heard little, only understanding Peter's apology and explanation and a bit more yelling on the other side of the phone. After a promise was made to call again soon, Peter sheepishly gave Tony his phone back.

"Sorry, I had to tell my best friend I was still alive. He's the only one I have left, and I didn't want to worry him too long."

Cap smiled for the first time that night.

"So, Peter Parker, huh?"
