On the way to the hospital Zayah was scared thought going threw her mind how imma take care of the girls without him?what if he don't make it? Why us? Tears rolled down her face

"Zay breath baby I'm good"Mari tried to comfort her but deep down inside he was also scared but if he didn't jump in front of Zay then it would have been her in his spot

"Baby I love you please stay with us you got a family"as she was talking to him his eyes started to close

"Stay up don't got to sleep nigga"she smacked his ass hard and he opened his eyes and laughed

"Just wait we married now imma fuck you up in the bed"he coughed

They finally made it to the hospital and they rushed him into surgery everyone waited in the waiting room lay and kay were crying

"I want my dada"Kayla screamed and threw her sippy cup

"Go pick it up dada is busy"she looked at Zayah like she was dumb then fell on the floor and started screaming and kicking

Zayah was stressed she really hoped after this Mari would get out of the streets

Back to the hospital

"Um ok so bad news is a lot of blood did come out to where he is now in a coma the bullet did get far enough to his rib he's gonna have to rest a lot and he can't pick up big things ok now good news we got the bluet out and stopped the bleeding he's in room 206"she smiled and they all went to mari's hospital room

When Zay seen her now husband all in wires her heart broke when he said he would do anything for her he meant that he really saved her life

She walked over to him and pulled a chair over sitting down resting her head in the bed while holding his hand

"Baby imma go get y'all some clothes cause I figured your wedding dress is uncomfortable"zay mama kissed he on the forehead and left

"Mama why dada no wake up"lay asked making Zayah cry

"Babygirl he just sleep he gonna wake up soon alright"Layla nodded

"Visiting hours are over"the doctor said

"Can you take the girls with y'all"Zay asked London and toot the said yeah and everyone left

"Baby please wake up I can't do this without you please wake up soon"she cried she untied the back of her dress cause she couldn't breathe then she turned the tv on and laid down in the couch Falling into a deep sleep

The books almost over tbh I don't know if there will be a sequel because like I'm done with this family I'm ready for a new book which y'all I'm working on a new book and imma drop it when I get 20 chapters finished
