"Mari mari"I cried then Mari started shaking so I ran and pressed the red button

Five doctors ran into the room trying to help him then everything stopped

The doctor turned around to me and said

"Ma'am I'm sorry Jamari didn't make it"

"ZAY WAKE UP"my mama yelled scaring me

"No no no he's gone"I cried then I looked and seen Mari laying down perfectly fine

"Baby it's just a bad dream mari's doing just fine they just came in here to check him up and they said he should be waking up soon"she gave me some pajamas

"Thank you mom"I gave her a hug and went to the bathroom to put my clothes on

When I came back there was that nasty hospital food I just mugged the food and went back to my spot on the couch and watched sponge bob

"Water mamas"I heard Mari say making me jump up and get him water

"Where the girls at"he asked me

"They with London and toot I should beat yo ass why would you jump in front of that damn bullet"I mugged him and he laughed

"Now yo ass can never say I ain't do shit for you and I wasn't about to let you get shot especially how beautiful you was"I smiled and gave him a kiss

"When can I leave because I'm ready to go"

"You just woke up and already trying to leave"I sat on the edge of the bed

Then the doctor came in

"Hello my names dr.cello How's everything doing I see your woke"he sat his computer up he looked so familiar

"Everything's fine so far I'm just ready to leave"Mari got up

"Mmk and how's- oh hey Zayah you helped my wife with her baby"dr cello smiled

"Oh how's your baby"

"Good any ways do you need anything mr.Davison"he started typing something on his computer

"Yeah I want some of that chocolate cake yall be having that shit be slap oh and if y'all  got some milk let me get that nothing else cause that shit be nasty af but that cake let me get two of them bitches"Mari licked his lips

"Damn fat self"I laughed

"Ok imma be back with yo cake and milk in a minute see ya"he waved and left

"Want me to order Uber eats"he nodded quick

Few days later

"Here you go take these every day and don't forget to re wrap your stomach every day "a lady gave Mari his meds and some other stuff then we left and went to the grocery store cause I needed stuff for dinner

"You coming in"I asked Mari and he nodded

We went shopping then went home

"Put that down now"I yelled at Mari cause we had two packs of water and he not supposed to carry heavy stuff

"I'm good Babygirl"he put it down in the kitchen

"So hard head"I laughed

Our kids got home and we all got in the bed a snuggled up
