The blond had gone into a crisis at the knowledge that this was not some sort of made-up place within his mind, he was in the number one place to avoid. The idea that Ashton was the devil had always been more or less, a joke. He never had any horns, nor glowing red eyes that held the twink in fear. He was extremely attractive, but that was not enough to warrant him being Lucifer himself. Even so, he sat with the window overviewing the modern city of Hell behind him. Occasionally looking back and forth to the right and left hallways, pondering if it would be a safer option to return to Ashton's bedroom.
That monster he had encountered would surely not be the last one, and what if the next one he came across was less merciful? The thought sent shivers down his spine, as goosebumps rose on his exposed skin. He rose from his place, legs trembling as if he had just got a good fucking. He truly wished he had, maybe the situation he had got himself stuck in would feel less glaringly intense.
His bare feet carried him to the left, for the scary woman had gone to the right and he hoped to avoid her. Even if she decided not to murder the human, Luke wasn't going to test his luck by being near her a second time. She had a thirst for human blood, that Luke wasn't interested in quenching. As he walked he felt as if sets of eyes slowly began to focus on him, like a pack of wolves eyeing their next prey, and the feeling caused him to look around with extreme paranoia. Nausea overwhelmed him, as he came to the conclusion that he should have stayed in Ashton's room.
"I never thought he would go to such lengths for a human, usually he lets his toys die off but not you huh?" A voice stated, causing the blond to look behind him, but no one was there. Now he was hearing things too? Luke was no toy, and even if he was, he paused and tightly held onto the pink tourmaline feeling warmth from the crystal that provided him with a sense of reassurance, he was no longer just a toy.
"A beautiful soul on this one, a damn shame he is claimed by the king," A second voice stated, this one of a much higher pitch which caused the human to cringe, and almost go to cover his ears. He wished he could see where the voices came from, but he was alone as far as his eyes could tell him. The mixed messages made him feel sick and confused.
The human had been walking for who knows how long, and the stench of sulfur following him increased more and more with each step he took. His feet seemed to be burning as he got farther and farther, but the scenery of the hallway remained the same. Unchanging, as if he had not walked anywhere at all. A sigh fell from his soft lips, as he chose to take a seat against the wall and shut his eyes. Though he could hear danger, he couldn't see it and concluded it to be auditory hallucinations. The demons tailing him giggled at the innocence the human possessed, only a fool would sleep so out in the open in Hell. Yet, Luke was allowed more wiggle room to be an idiot because only a complete masochist would even dare to hurt him. Ashton would ensure that whoever hurt what belonged to him would be skinned alive.
He slipped into a deep slumber quickly, shivering occasionally due to the lack of clothing. It didn't take long for the King of Hell to glare at the demons observing his lover, shooing them away before his temper rose. His warm strong arms picked up the human, feeling how weak Luke was in comparison to when the blond first stumbled into his realm. Weaker, yet still so beautiful. He was dying and of course, Ashton knew. As much as he wanted to ignore the fact, he couldn't because the unbearable fact that he would lose Luke was growing. Unless he chose to be as selfish as he was destined to be. But with Luke, it was different. He couldn't decide for the human, he had to be fair.
Teleporting back to his room, he gently laid the human down on his bed and tucked him in. He wouldn't wake up in his world, not this time at least. He was attracting demons that intended to do harm, and Ashton could not bodyguard his lover as easily on Earth as he could in his own realm. For now, Luke would be with him and the two could spend their time together up until a decision forced them closer or apart.
Ashton's knuckles tightened around the paper he held, being delivered by a messenger from the Heavens, a special angel only able to enter Hell for the sole purpose of delivering messages from the higher being, God.
God wasn't the fondest when it came to Ashton, and thus his messages typically were extremely passive-aggressive. When it came to matters with Luke, such aggression had only increased and Ashton found himself more irate. To have his relationship being the gossip of the town for it's many forbidden aspects had him wanting to knock everything off his desk, and screaming out. But instead, he kept a stone-cold expression and simply killed off those he could based on levels of disrespect.
Rough paper cut his skin a bit causing droplets of blood smudge the pain, the king rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Set him free?" He mumbled the final words of the letter aloud, glancing at Luke who seemed to glow brighter than any light on in the dim room. Not yet. Luke was his, for now, it was what they both wanted. The human spent countless nights sobbing, clutching onto his necklace begging for a man unbeknownst to him to be the devil. But that didn't matter, what mattered was the emotions the two shared. They were real and extremely strong. No letter from the Heavens, nor judgment from the lower demons could change his mind on that fact.
"Sir- you have more trials you must oversee," A voice stated within his head, causing the being to sigh in annoyance. If only he could just spend time with Luke, then maybe his stress could be reduced. He pressed a hot kiss to the forehead of the mortal, watching as a natural blush rose on Luke's cheeks even while he slept. So precious. He exited the room, making sure to lock it this time as he did not want the blond wandering around especially with a lack of clothing as he had been. Not to say he had been jealous, but if the shoe fits maybe he was just a bit. Luke was his angel after all, thus only reserved for his eyes.
