Dom had us wrap up any final car adjustments. Hobbs arranged for us to leave in a couple hours. We had to move fast & packed up light. I helped Giselle pack the guns which were just handguns. Everyone fit their stuff in a duffle bag. But, all of us were worried for Brian. He wasn't back yet & we were leaving for our plane ride. Dom had stalled for as long as he could. As luck would have it, the elevator chimed as we slowly headed out.
"You son of a bitch. You made it!" Rome happily exclaimed
"Yeah." He smiled as they had a bro hug
"Good to see you man." Tej greeted
"Good to see you too." He exchanged
"So what's going on here?" He asked
"Figured out they're hitting an army base in Spain. Border patrol ID Shaw's men passing through last night." Tej explained
"Hobbs & Riley went to lock down the base. They're gonna meet us there." Han added as they did their handshake
"Yes, I packed your bag too." I smirked
"Thanks, mom. Where's Dom?" He asked as he held back a chuckle
"He wasn't going without you." Giselle replied as she pointed to the alcove
We waited for them to talk. Brian still blamed himself but Dom got him to refocus on what we could fix. With everyone together, we could leave. We were driven to a military base since we needed a cargo plane to fit everything. Luckily, the hold was pressurised so we could stay below. We were due to arrive by the morning. Tej monitored communications during the flight.
"I just got word. They caught one of Shaw's men at the base. It's time." Tej announced
"Something's not right." Brian mumbled before heading for Dom
"He wanted us to find that guy. Think about it. Interpol, your face to face with him." Brian worried
"Brian, so what are you saying?" Rome asked as we gathered around
"Braga said the only way you get near Shaw is if he wants you to." He disclosed
"Tej, where they moving that computer chip to?" Dom asked
"They're moving it to a secure location." He answered. Giselle, Dom, Brian & i quickly figured out their plan.
"Shaw ain't hitting that base." Dom realised
"He's hitting the convoy." Brian smirked
"Cassie, modify the plan for the highway." Dom instructed
The 3 of us quickly changed our formations for the highway. Giselle & Han would use their bikes to take out sidecars. Dom, Brian, Rome & I would chase after Shaw. Tej would be on a bridge for overwatch & call out any surprises.
We were dropped off at the base & warned Hobbs of our hunch before leaving. He decided to stay behind just in case but sent us ahead. He would follow in a helicopter once we confirmed Shaw.
"Fellas, you better hurry up. They just took the convoy." the urged us as we punched it
"Hey Dom. Letty's with them." He informed us over the walkie. We all nervously waited for Dom's reaction.
"We stick to the plan." Dom decided before upshifting
"Alright, you heard the man. Let's play this fast & clean. that things headed your way." He hyped us
"Um, guys. We gotta come up with another plan." Tej worried as we neared the bridge
"They got a tank." He gulped
