"So I'll be here in like an hour or so to pick you up, ok?" Austin says.
"Whatever floats your boat, mahone"
With that I tap his nose and skip up to my dorm like a 5 year old.
It's strange how at times I can act so mature and other times so immature.
Most of the time I act immature though.
I unlock the door to my dorm and skip inside.
"Lucyy I'm home!!" I sing.
"Well hello honey, glad you're home!" Emily says dramatically.
We then do that thing where you kiss each other's cheeks.
"Yes sister dearest, I hope I'm not late for supper!" I say continuing the dramaticism.
"No not at all! You're just in time for this delicious pizza I just ordered! It should be arriving any time now!" She says.
"Well, I would love to join you.... But....-" I say trying to create suspense when Emily cuts me off.
"YOURE GOING ON A DATE WITH AUSTIN
HAHAHA I KNEW IT I KNEW IT
AUSTIN AND PARKER SITTIN IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-" she starts to sing before I cut her off.
"No missy we are not! We are having a friendship play date. ONLY FRIENDS ALLOWED. NO DATING ALLOWED" I say making it very clear that this is not a date.
"I don't understand you Parker. Austin is everything anyone would want in a guy and you obviously like each other. Why don't you two just date already??" She asks.
"Well Emily, it's more complicated than that. He just broke up with his girlfriend today, I don't wanna seem like a rebound. That's just too fast. Also, I need to figure everything else out. Like what I would be getting myself into if we started dating..." I say.
Yes, of course I want to date Austin.
I still can't believe he likes me, but moving that fast into a relationship is just destined for failure.
"I see what you're saying-" Emily starts to say then gets cut off by a knock on the door.
"GAH WHY WONT ANYONE LET ME FINISH?!" She yells.
"Ummm, pizza?" The guy on the other side of the door says.
Parker, you have to resist the urge of eating this pizza.
