The rain is pouring heavily outside, and I found myself seating near the window and making myself comfortable with the sound of the heavy rain.
I slowly closed my eyes as I felt the coldness of the atmosphere.
This is indeed the peace and healing I need.
I sighed as I opened my eyes, my life has been this boring for everybody, same old routine and nothing's different . In this teenage stage, lots of teenagers are making their best to have the "best teenage memories ever" and here I am being distant to everyone. But for the information of everybody, I am enjoying this so called distance.
I turned my back as I heard the door opened ,and there I saw my little brother holding his camera and smiling widely.
"Hi sis, mind if I join your senti mood ? " and then he chuckled.
"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be outside, wearing your yellow raincoat and making the best of the best with the rain." I jokingly rolled my eyes.
"Sudden change of heart haha, I'm not in the mood to play with the rain right now , by the way let's take a shot" he then came closer to me.
That's my lil brother Ash, a year younger than me, he loves taking photos at random moments and random places.
"Say RAINNNN" then we both smiled widely .
We both laugh as we saw our picture together. Ash has been my mood changer eversince.
"Mom's calling us , we better go downstairs before the beast in her comes out haha"
Tumawa ako sa sinabi niya, our mom can be a beast but she's definitely one of the best. Feel me?
"Hi Mom" I greeted her with a smile.
"Hmm, take your seat Alli and Ash." she smiled .
"Where's Dad?"
" Your Dad left after eating breakfast, may pupuntahan lang" mom said.
"Ahhh" I nodded, sabagay hindi kasi ako nag breakfast kanina kaya ngayon lang ako bumaba.
"Take a sip on this soup Alli" my mom served me with the soup she made as well as Ash.
"Thanks Mom!" Ash and I said in unison.
" Ano plano natin bukas ?" tanong ni Ash habang tinataas-baba ang kilay
"Well, same old routine, magsisimba tayo kaya dapat maaga matulog okay?" mag pagbabanta sa boses ni Mommy.
Ash and I nodded.
After having some little chitchats, I immediatly went out and I headed straight to the sala.
"I'm going to turn on the aircon, better wear that sis" he replied.
"Ang lamig lamig tapos magpapa aircon ka? Hibang kaba?" di makapaniwalang tanong ko.
"Obviously!" tipid na sagot niya tapos tumawa.
"Myyy, Ash is turning the aircon even though he knows how cold the weather is, nagsasayang ng kuryente!"
"Hayaan mo na!" pabalik na sigaw ni Mommy.
Nakita ko kung paano ako tawanan ni Ash.
I rolled my eyes.
"What?" he mouthed
"I can't believe that you're being childish right now" I said and then rolled my eyes again.
" At hanggang ngayon di pa din ako makapaniwala na sa edad mong yan nagsusumbong kapa kay Mommy, are you kidding me sis?" he replied and then he chuckled.
"Ewan ko sayo" tanging nasabi ko.
I've been so dependent all my life, kaya hanggang ngayon nangangapa parin ako. Before doing something, I have to consult it first to Mom or Dad, to enlighten me and for me to decide wisely.
At this age, my beliefs are connected to my parent's beliefs. I grew up having them , for me they are the most trusted people , they will never betray my trust.
Ash and I continued on watching TV.
I checked the time , 3:50 in the afternoon. And the rain already stopped.
"Ash, let's go to the kitchen" I said to him.
"Bakit? Kakain tayo?" tanong niya habang nasa TV pa rin nakatingin.
"Let's cook" sabi ko.
"Anong lulutuin natin?" tanong nya.
"Let's see kung anong meron sa ref. " sagot ko.
"Kumpleto ba gamit natin sa kusina?" tanong niya na naman.
I rolled my eyes again for the nth time.
"Ash, stop making fun of me" I said in a disgusted tone.
"Haha binibiro lang kita, tara!" pinatay niya agad ang TV at ang aircon tsaka dumiretso sa kusina habang ako nakasunod lang sa kanya.
"Where's Mom?" tanong niya sakin.
"Di ko alam, baka naligo?" I replied.
" Dito ba siya sa bahay naligo?" tanong niya na naman.
"Ang kulit mo ah! Sapakin kaya kita!" kunwaring naiinis na sabi ko.
"Ohhhh, sorry haha peace" he then smiled.
"Apology Accepted" sagot ko.
We both checked the refrigerator, and decided to cook adobong manok, since matagal tagal na din kaming hindi kumakain ng manok.
"Sis, face me" biglang sabi ni Ash kaya agad akong humarap sa kanya he's now holding his phone.
"I'll take a shot, say CHICKEN" nakangiting sabi niya.
"CHICKENNNN" and then smiled widely.
"I'll post this , you're cute" sabi niya.
Ash washed the dishes since siya ang nakatoka ngayon.
"Don't forget to sleep early tonight" habilin ni Mommy bago umakyat kasama si Daddy.
I waited for Ash to finish washing the dishes, and then we both head upstairs.
"Goodnight kid" I said to him. Magkatapat lang naman kami ng kwarto.
"I'm not a kid" he said and then jokingly glared at me.
"Whatever you say kid haha" hirit ko pa.
"Goodnight Big Sis" and then he entered in his room after saying those words.
I sighed as I entered to my room, this day was like yesterday.
I took a half bath and then immediately drifted off to sleep.
