My alarm went off and I turned it off. "Uhh, why do I have to get up so early..." I muttered to myself as I climbed out of my bed. I got changed into my White Sailor-outfit and my shorts. I made myself some breakfast and scrolled through the news on my phone. "Looks like some new weapons have been made." I say reading an article. I've been living in Inkolpolis square for about three months and I was working at Sheldons new shop. I don't do any turf wars or rank anymore. I changed my hair as well as I hated the ponytail. Though I kind of still have one, it's not as bad as back then as I like my hair to the side a bit.

After I finished eating, I put on my Cream basics and tossed on my Fishfry visor cap. After locking my apartment room, I headed to the main area of the square. It was 8:00 which meant Off the Hook did their news break about the stages and other stuff. I ignored it and entered the weapons shop where I worked.

"Hey there Michael." A cheerful voice said. I looked to see Slushie already there putting some new weapons on display. "Hello Slushie, you seem to be in a good mood." I said to my friend and co-worker. I met Slushie around a week after I moved to the square as that's when I applied to work here. "Ah Michael, glad you're here. Think you can help get some of the weapons from the truck that arrived?" Sheldon asked me. I nodded and went to the loading dock.

I went inside the truck and looked at all the boxes holding a clipboard in my hand. I was making sure we got all the new weapons first so I could tell Sheldon the all clear. If we have one weapon missing, he goes into this mode that's not fun to be around as he just tears the place apart and scrambles around trying to find them or get replacements as fast as possible.

I smiled seeing that we had all the weapons and began to unload them off the truck. Slushie walked over. "How's it looking?" She asked. "We have all the weapons." I replied. She smiled and let out a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear." Slushie said. "Want to grab something from Crusty Sean's truck for lunch today?" She asked me. "Of course." I said with a smile.

It was finally lunch time. Slushie and I walked out of Sheldon's store and headed over to Crusty Sean's food truck. "What kracken kiddos?" Crusty asked as we walked up. "Oh, hello there Slushie and Michael." He added after he saw us. "Hey Crusty, we'll each have one of you sandwiches." I said to him. "Coming right up." Crusty said and started making the sandwiches. "Why not grab us a table and I'll bring the food over." I said to Slushie. "Good idea." She said and walked over to one of the nearby tables. After a few minutes of waiting, Crusty handed me the food and I paid for both and I headed towards the table Slushie was sitting at.

I sat down and handed Slushie her sandwich. She had her Hickory work cap on the table. I took my visor off and set it down on the table. I saw Slushie reach into her pocket and start to take out some money. "No need to repay, this is my treat." I told her. She blushed a little, "Thanks..." She said a little shyly. "Don't go thinking this is a date." I tease as I noticed the blush and the two of us laughed.
