🌙Chapter 17🌙 Ink's Message

I stood behind the castle. Me and my friends are going to make a shield for this kingdom. No one can teleport in and out or open a portal to get inside the castle. Except for the people that lives here. Like me and my friends and the villagers. I'm already in position. I moved my hand where the Pure Heart bracelet is, closer to my mouth. We've already tested that this bracelet can also be used as a communication.

"Guys, are you in position?"

"Yes."

"Yeah."

"I'm in position."

"Mhm."

Four of them replied but I don't hear Horror's voice.

"Horror?"

"...y-yes. I'm already in position."

"You sounding so nervous.. you okay?"

"...I'm okay, Nightmare. Don't worry, just.. kinda distracted and lost in my thought for a sec."

"I see. Okay. Let's start then, Guys."

"Yes!"

I sighed softly and moved my hand forward. The Pure Heart bracelet glows up green and then shoots to the sky, and stopped in the middle of the kingdom. I looked up at the sky as purple magic from Dust's Pure Heart connects itself with my Pure Heart magic. Then, yellow magic, white magic, red magic and blue magic also connects itself to my magic.

We wait something to happen. Then, faint colors of shield magic comes out of the ground as it surround the kingdom. The shield magic then stopped after the whole kingdom was protected by it. I sighed softly, the shield was so visible.

"Dust, you brought your sword, right?"

"Yes."

"Good. I've read from the book that if you stabbed the sword on the ground it will made the shield invisible."

"Oh? Okay."

"Screen number 1, Murder Dust."

A screen appeared in front of me as it shows Dust. Dust grabbed the sword that laid on the ground and then stayed still. After a minute he stabbed the ground with his sword, right in front of the shield as purple magic comes out of the sword. I looked at the shield as it's faint color slowly fading. After a few minutes, the shield was barely seen.

After then, Dust pulled out the sword. I sighed softly as the screen disappeared in front of me. I smiled softly,

"Good job, guys. Let's go get inside the castle and continue eating my birthday cake."

I sat on the couch as I ate the cake. The others were sitting on the couch too, eating a slice of the cake. We were just done making a shield for the whole kingdom. And to be honest, it's kinda draining our strength. Oh, and by the way, Horror was the only one who's not here.

He was in the backyard. On the screen he was just testing his new powers. Well, his new powers are just clones of his axe but red colors. But to be honest, he looks so.. bothered about something. His body were moving around while throwing his attacks almost everywhere, but his face and negative feelings shows that he's bothered about something.

Then, he stopped. As he sat on the ground, taking deep breathes many times. Then he curled up. Yes, something is definately bothering him. I might ask him later. Then, I saw Horror stood up like he was alarmed or something. He walked at the end of the yard and stood in front of someone, touching the invisible shield. Ink.

I stood up and teleported to the backyard, right beside Horror. Horror looked up at me, so does Ink. Ink removed his hand from touching the shield.

"You can't get in."

"I know. I'm not wanting to."

"So? What are you doing here? I'm guessing you want to kidnap Horror again."

"Nah. I was just going to tell Horror a message for you."

"A message?"

"Mhm. I want you, only you, come to the forests in three days. Don't bring your 'friends'."

"Fine. In the forest where exactly?"

"Just keep walking to the forest until you saw me and the others."

"Okay. That can do."

Then, Ink teleported away. Horror and I stood there still. Then I turned around at him, he looked away from me as he hugged himself. He was about to walk away but I hold his arm as he stopped.

"You okay? You seem sad."

"I-I'm okay, Nightmare.."

"I always knew if you're okay or not from your feelings, Horror. Tell me, what is it that bothers you so much?"

"Nothing.. really, it's nothing.."

"Horror.."

"I-It's really nothing.."

I sighed softly as I let go of his arm. Horror looked at me slightly and said something before he walked away,

"I don't think I have much time left to be with all of you..."
