Lux's POV

"Looks like it'll be a rainy night," i tell my friend ernie. He's been here for over 15 years for insanity. Did i mention he's schiophrenic? He was 5'9 with the arms of a locksmith, legs of a professional track runner. He was a very thin guy. I finish up the dishes and wiped my hands onto a rag.

"hey ern, can you take out the trash?" He nodded and took out the trash bag out from under the sink and headed out to the back where the garbage was.

About ten minutes past, but ernie never came back and we were supposed to do lockdown together. Where did he go? Maybe it's the rain that is corrupting him. Maybe he dropped the trash and is picking them all up. He is a clumsy person. I waited five more minutes before deciding to go out looking for him.

I took the umbrella from the coat rack,my flashlight and opened the back door. The rain pelted against the umbrella, the rain was strong, almost as if they were rock solid. "Dammit ernie, where are you?" I looked around, puddles everywhere. I then heard a faint sound, almost like a cry for help. "luuuuu.." i heard a hoarse voice plead. "Luuuuuu..." "ernie? ernie, is that you?"

I ran towards the sound and i stopped right where i was. That smell. That very scent. It smelled like iron, the one you found on school fences after a rainy day. "ernie?" i looked down at my white, now blood red tennis shoes. I flashed the light in front of me and i fell back in shock. Ernie was hung on a steel barbed wire by the neck, his eye sockets dark black, his mouth curved a smile. Ernie was dead.

I stand back up as i faced the light to his right. "You're next." i read as i turned around, it was the end of me.

Laurens POV

"you did it. you avenged me." "yes. i did it for you, my love." she smiled a sadistic smile. "i know, i know." "but this isn't enough. He wants a feast. He was a festival. He wants everything." "i don't understand." she stood up and opened her mouth,

All good souls from boys and girls

Our reeping day has been at hand

Gather you're stakes, gather you're knives

We're going to have a nice surprise

What are we having? Children soup?

Cut up newborns in you're stew?

Come one, come all to the woods

He says finish off the un-gifted,

He says finish them off for good.
