Chapter 12: Bubble buddies

You were investigating some weird earthquakes. "I don't think they are earthquakes. They're too frequent" Peridot said. Stevens bike rolled down the small hill and landed in front of Peridot making her jump a little. "Hey look, Steven's got a bike" Lapis said. "Where are you going Steven?" You asked. "Just out for a ride" He said. "Umm in the sand?" Jasper asked. "Yup" Steven answered and walked away. You shrugged and went into the house.

You and Jasper were relaxing on the couch next to the window. Lapis and Peridot were in their rooms. Your head was on Jaspers lap. She was stroking your (h/l) (hair length) (h/c) (hair color) hair. She laughed a little. "What is it?" You asked. "Steven was showing off on his bike, in front of a boy" She said. You lifted your head and looked out of the window. Steven was just falling off of his bike, in front of a blond haired boy. You snickered and layed your head back down. "He's running into the house" Jasper said.

Soon enough Steven bursts trough the front door. His normal spikey hair falling in his red face. "What up?" He asked. "Who were you talking to?" Jasper asked. "Huh?". " The boy?" You said. "You saw? He's just a boy I know. Except he doesn't know me...... We've never talked" Steven said. "Aww, you like him?" Jasper asked. "Uhh.. I like everyone" He said. "Well why don't you just talk to him?" You asked. "Okay! But you guys can't watch this time. It'll mess with my Funky flow" He said. "Funky what?" Jasper questioned. "We won't watch" You said. "Alright" Steven said and went to the freezer. He took out some kind of bracelet that was glowing yellow. "What's that?" Jasper asked. "Nothing!" Steven said and ran back out. "Jasper I'm lazy. Could you carry me to my room please?" You asked. "What will I get in return?" She smirked. "Hmm... A free kiss?" You said. Jasper picked you up and carried you to the temple door. You activated your door. It opened and Jasper carried you in.

Later that day you were still looking out for the weird earthquakes. They were becoming more and more frequent. You were standing outside of the house with Jasper, listening for them. You heard it behind the temple. You ran towards the source. Steven and the boy from before were standing in front of a tangled corrupted gem. It poofed. "Steven!" You and Jasper yelled. The dust cleared. Thankfully Steven and The boy were unharmed. You ran up to him. "Are you alright?" You asked. "He was incredible!" The blond boy said. Jasper walked to the place where the corruption was, searching for its gem. "We're alright (G/t), really" Steven said. "So are you going to introduce us?" Jasper asked. "Oh, right umm. Peedee, this is Jasper and (G/t), they're sorta like my moms" Steven said. "Pleasure to meet you Peedee" You said and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you too" He said. "Steven was really excited to meet you" Jasper said. "Hey! Don't mess with his Funky flow, J" You said teasingly. Steven blushed.
