Izuku's eyes fluttered open and he felt a sharp pain go through his arm. He yelped at the pain. An uncomfortable feeling lingered in his wrists and they burned and ached. "Ow," he winced, tugging on his wrists to get a better look at them. Instead, the noise of chains rattling filled the air and Izuku heard someone grunt. He looked up and he felt the blood drain from his face. "Kacchan?"

Katsuki had round metal balls clamped onto his hands, which looked much heavier than Katsuki was letting on. They were attached to chains, which were attached to the ceiling. Katsuki hung in the middle of the room from his hands, and his feet dangled in the air. His feel had rough rope tied around them, preventing Katsuki from moving them freely.

"It's about time you woke up," Katsuki growled, yanking on his chains. "Kacchan, what's going on?" "What does it look like, idiot?" Katsuki snapped, still not taking his eyes off his chain. "How long was I out?" Izuku asked, glancing around the room. It was big, with smooth concrete surfaces. Katsuki hung far away from the walls, in the middle. There was a large metal door to Izuku's right that reminded him of a prison cell.

"Almost three hours. They drugged you pretty bad," Katsuki answered, his brows frowning in frustration. "They drugged me?!" Katsuki nodded, swinging his legs forward and backward. "What are you doing? How are we going to get out of here? Where are the villains? In fact, where are we?" Izuku ranted. "Oh, yeah, the guy trapped inside the same room as you, in the same situation totally knows the answers to those questions. Yup, totally," Katsuki said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"I'm trying to," Katsuki grunted, swinging his legs harder, "pull myself up. If I can manage to wrap my leg around the chain and use them to inspect the chain, I might find a way to escape." Katsuki grunted, throwing his legs up in the air, using his momentum to wrap his legs around the chain so he was upside down.

"Ah, shit," Katsuki grumbled, biting his lip. "What?" "They're watching," Katsuki replied, unwrapping his legs and letting himself go upward again. "How do you know?" "The room temperature," Katsuki replied. Izuku paused, feeling the air around him. It was warmer than when he had woken up and the room felt humaid.

"Your quirk," Izuku mumbled, remembering how Katsuki hated warmer temperatures. Katsuki nodded. "You shouldn't carry that stupid book around," Katsuki scowled, taking in a deep breath. "What book?" Izuku asked. "The notebook with like, everyone's strengths, weaknesses, background, personal information that most people would rather you not know, quirk possibilities, and all that," Katsuki replied, trying his best not to yell profanities at Izuku.

"Oh yeah. That," Izuku mumbled. (Lol, imagen forgetting you own a book that could potentially kill everyone you love and care about. Could never be Izuku.) "How's your arms?" Katsuki asked Izuku, nodding his head to Izuku's arms. They were at his sides, and his body was chained to the wall, much unlike Katsuki. "Broken," Izuku replied. "Yeah, no shit. I was asking if you felt any pain," Katsuki growled, clearly in a bad mood, which was understandable.

"Not right now. Actually, it feels numb," Izuku told Katsuki, inspecting his arm closer. Katsuki nodded, taking in the information. "That could either be really good or really bad," Katsuki grumbled. "What's that supposed to mean?" "They gave you a shot. While you were passed out? They figured you'd fight back or struggle if you were awake so they stuck a needle in your arms while you were asleep," Katsuki answered.

"Screw it," Katsuki grunted, swinging his legs back up and wrapping them around the chain in a quick motion. His head dangled and he bit his lip as he swayed back and for upside down.

"Kacchan! If it gets too hot, with a quirk like yours-" "I'm risking my health. Yeah, I know," Katsuki grumbled in reply, trying to pull his body up. He studied the chains and Izuku could feel the room temperature increase at a quick rate. "Kacchan!" "I know!" Katsuki snapped. Then he grinned, looking at Izuku. Sweet dripping down (up?) his forehead and from the tip of his nose. "It's an old kind. The chain is rusted near the top. If I can create enough weight and momentum to yank on it hard enough, it'll probably snap," Katsuki explained proudly.
