Next few days was all the same. In the morning the team had breakfast together, then someone trained, someone was in the lab or in the library and they all had dinner together as well. Some nights few of them watched a movie together. But other than that it was peaceful time, except when someone had to go on a mission of course.
Kira was slowly opening to the Avengers and she even befriended Loki. They often met in the library and after a while they started talking more and more and eventually became quite a good friends actually. So now every night they read together and then discuss about the books. Loki was glad that he has a friend and Kira was glad that he doesn't ask about her life like others do. Of course, sometimes he was curious and asked and if it wasn't too personal she gladly answered him. Both of them are happy.
There were days that Kira tried her powers but when she accidentaly froze part of her room she stopped in fear she would cause more damage. Those days she was distant in fear of hurting someone. They all noticed but didn't pay much attention to it because they thought it was because bad memory. But Loki noticed and knew it wasn't that. He felt something from her but stronger than usual. He doesn't want to confront her about it in fear of losing his friendship with her. But it was too long for him to ignore it so he decided that tonight when they will be reading, he will ask her.
