Happy Monday readers and thanks for returning! I'm so excited to release this part of Wei Ying and Lan Zhan's story but also very nervous at the same time. I have NEVER written anything like this before so I hope you like it and want more. Once again this is my own fan fiction. These characters are not mine but were created by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. All chapter pictures are also not mine so credit to the uploaders.
Song List:

Wei Wuxian always woke after Lan Zhan so he wasn't surprised when he didn't see him in Jingshi. He dressed and took a slow look around the room. Originally, there had been only one bed but, when Lan Zhan brought Wei Ying home with him, he had his brother, Lan Xichen, acquire another one and place it along the opposite wall. Wei Ying knew Lan Zhan did this so he could keep a close eye on him as he worried that Wei Ying would sneak out at night and cause trouble. Or worse, leave again. At first, it was a bit awkward sharing a room with someone but Wei Ying quickly grew to like it.
For a year, this arrangement had worked but, after what happened last night, Wei Ying now wished there was only one bed again. That kiss haunted his thoughts. It had been slow, filled with love and tenderness. He would never forget how soft Lan Zhan's lips felt against his and how their tongues intertwined, their souls merging into one.
However, he also felt guilt, knowing that Lan Zhan would never remember their forbidden kiss. He never remembered what he did when he was drunk. 'Next time I'll kiss him when he's sober.' Wei Ying promised himself. 'And, maybe I'll do even more inappropriate things to him. That way he'll never leave me, Wei Wuxian, the Yiling Patriarch, again!'
He walked around Cloud Recesses until he found Lan Wangji in the Library talking to Lan Xichen. Both wore serious looks on their faces. He wondered if he should politely interrupt or quietly wait outside until they were done. Of course, his troublesome side won and he waltzed in as he crunched into the apple he was finishing for breakfast.
Lan Xichen smiled at Wei Ying but Lan Zhan's expression didn't change.
"Wei-gongzi, I'm glad you could join us." Lan Xichen said. "We were just talking about you."
"Of course, you were." Wei Ying sounded uncertain. "And why do I have this feeling it's something I won't like hearing."
"No, no." Lan Xichen chuckled. "I was just asking Wangji if he thought you would be willing to help Lan Sizhui teach his classes on a more permanent basis. As an official instructor. I know you enjoy your time with the juniors and I see how they all look up to you. So, I thought it would be a good pairing. Sizhui would teach the classroom lessons, and you could assist with fighting techniques and talisman training. What do you think?"
Wei Ying glanced at Lan Zhan who looked slightly worried. 'Is he worried I can't teach the youngsters properly? Well then....' "I would LOVE to!!!" he exclaimed confidently.
"Thank you, Wei-gongzi." Lan Xichen bowed in gratefulness. "You will start tomorrow and I will let Sizhui know you have agreed."
With that, Lan Xichen left quickly, leaving Wei Ying and Lan Zhan alone in the library. Lan Zhan turned to Wei Ying, the worried expression still on his handsome face.
"Lan Zhan, don't worry, I won't do anything to make you or the Lan Clan lose face. I'll do my very best. I think I'll do a wonderful job as teacher!" Wei Ying said as he stuck out his chest and held the collars of his robes with both hands.
