I walked towards the entrance of the huge building, carrying my bag with me.

This was it.

I was actually going to play a character from one of my favorite books of all time.

"Are you y/n l/n?" A middle-aged lady stood in front of me, her tall figure looming over my small one.

"Yes." I answered, my voice coming out smaller than I expected. My hands were sweating and I was sure she could sense my nervousness. She brought her hand to my back and introduced herself.

She guided me to the meeting room where I saw two boys and a girl who were already in the room, along with some adults. The room was quite big. There was a long table that formed a circle with a hole in the middle, and chairs for everyone to sit in.

"Y/n, this is Emma, Daniel and Rupert. They will be playing as Hermione, Harry and Ron." The lady introduced them. I gave them a shy grin and they smiled back.

"Don't worry, I'm nervous too." Dan said lowly as I sat on the chair with my name labeled on the desk in front of it. I smiled at him. His words somehow made my nervousness subtle a little.

After sitting on the chair for what felt like hours, the door creaked open revealing a brown-haired boy.

"Is that the one who got Draco's role?" Rupert asked, leaning his chair towards us.

"I think so." Emma replied, her eyes still fixed on the boy.

A woman guided him to a chair next to mine and his eyes looked up to meet mine. His attention turned to Emma as she introduced herself, Dan and Rupert following after.

"I'm y/n l/n." I stretched out my hand for him to shake.

"Tom. Tom felton." He shook my hand as I gave him a smile and he smiled shyly before turning his attention to the desk.

Soon, the meeting started after other actors and actresses started to arrive and I spent two hours listening to the man talking and explaining our roles.

"What was your favorite scene from the Harry Potter books?" Tom looked a little taken aback from the question and panic rose to his face for a mere second before he covered his expression with a cool look.

The man started asking Dan, then Emma and they all thoughtfully shared their answers. When it was my turn, I thought about it for a while before answering. "I think my favorite scene was the battle of Hogwarts. When everyone worked together to fight Voldemort's army."

"Very epic scene. What about you, Tom?" The man turned towards Tom who still had a calm look on his face.

"Oh, um... Same as y/n. The battle of Hogwarts was cool." He said effortlessly and I eyed him suspiciously. I turned my head to look at the man as he continued speaking and after a few minutes, we were finally done with the meeting.

"Do you actually like that scene?" I asked Tom and he shrugged.

"I don't know, I haven't read the books." He whispered and I mentally face palmed myself.

"You haven't read the-"

"Shh, don't tell them." He cut me off before I could finish my sentence.

"Tell them what?" Rupert suddenly popped up from behind me, giving me a mini heart attack.

"Tom hasn't read the books." I told the ginger-haired boy.

"Seriously?" He laughed as dragged his chair next to mine and sat on it.

"Shut up, they won't notice." Tom still had a huge grin on his face as Emma and Dan approached us.

"Hey."

"Oh hey, did you guys know that Tom-" Tom clamped his hand on Rupert's mouth, straining him from saying anything any further.

Tom

"Tom hasn't rea-" I shoved y/n's head down to my shoulder to prevent her from saying anything else, ignoring the butterflies that errupted in my stomach at the gesture.

I felt something wet and immediately released my hand from Rupert's mouth. "Ew, that's gross."

"Your hand tastes weird." He cringed in disgust.

"No it doesn't." I laughed out, not releasing my grip on y/n, making her stop struggling to break free and turn her head to the side - so she was leaning her head on my shoulder - to look at the others.

"It tastes like-"

"Don't." Y/n's laugh vibrated on my shoulder, causing the butterflies in my stomach to intensify. She finally lifted her head from my shoulder when a woman called her downstairs to meet with her mom.

"Wow this is long." Emma said, turning the pages of the first script. I took my own script and agreed, even though theirs were definetly longer.

"But Hagrid, we're not allowed to do magic away from Hogwarts. You know that." Dan read one of his lines. It's interesting how they will be filming the ending of the movie first. He continued flipping the pages of his script and read his lines.

"Feels strange to be going home, doesn't it?" Emma read her line.

"I'm not going home. Not really."

"I feel so not left out guys." I joked, knowing I won't be making an appearance in this scene.

Y/n

"You're gonna go now?" Dan asked. Emma and Rupert had already left a while ago and now it was my turn.

"Yeah." I pursed my lips into a thin line and Dan smiled. I returned his smile and Tom stood up from the chair, standing infront of Dan.

"See you." He smiled shyly at me and I grinned, waving goodbye to both of them before disappearing through the glass doors.

___________

Yeah okay this chapter is really really short. I kind of ran out of scenes in my head and conversations for their first introduction, but the next chapter will be longer.
