What would you do if you woke up in the dorm of of your favorite idol group?

Well, this dream became my reality after a dumb wish gone wrong. I know, you're probably wondering, why is she calling it a dumb wish? Wouldn't it be the best thing ever to wake up surrounded by your idols? Well, now that I've experienced it, I can confidently tell you that it is DEFINITELY not the best experience at first.

Anyway, enough of this, let's get on with some information about me. I mean, you don't even know my name yet. Or maybe you do, but whatever. On with the story!

First of all, my name is Hwang Areum. I'm Korean-Canadian, and I live in Canada with my mom, dad, older sister, and younger brother. I'm 15 years old, and I've got a pretty normal life.

Except for one thing.

You see, I still haven't told you how I got to live with Stray Kids for a month. For a normal STAY, it would be almost impossible. But I've got one thing that sets me apart. Something I was born with. Something that only around 100 people in the world are. I am a wish baby.

I know, I know, I'm not a baby anymore. But this is what I was born with, and I was a baby at the time, so yeah.

Wait, that's probably not what you're wondering. You probably don't know what a wish baby even is. Well, considering how rare we are, it would make sense that you don't know. Let me explain.

You see, a wish baby is a person born with the ability to make one wish every 5 years, as long as it doesn't have too much impact on anyone else. I'm still not really sure why I'm a wish baby, the requirements to be born a wish baby aren't specified yet, still being studied.

My wishes when I was 5 and 10 years old weren't really for me. I was young, so my parents told me to wish for some useful things. I wished for my family to stay healthy for my first wish, and my second wish I wished for my mom to win the lottery, so we could save a bit for my siblings' and my education. However this year, I wanted to wish for something just for me. You see, I've loved Stray Kids for so long, they're my role models, figures I look up to. So I thought, why not see them at least once in this lifetime. So I made one wish that flipped my world upside down for a month.

I wish to meet Stray Kids on 30 different days.

The thing is, I thought this would mean I would meet them on 30 separate occasions, meaning I'd meet them quite a lot. I never expected the wish to put those 30 days together.

So the next morning, when I woke up somewhere I wasn't quite familiar with, I'd finally realized my mistake.

I still wonder sometimes how I got through that month.
