Stanley wakes up to a usual bright morning. He gets ready wearing what seems to be the only thing he wore. A baggie dark green hoodie with black pants. He yawns as he grabs his phone and backpack on the side of his bed. He rushed down stairs to grab something to eat. He grabbed an apple and waved to his mother goodbye. "Hey Stan!" Stanley quickly turns around and see his friend Lance. "Hey!" Stanley smiled as he walked towards him. Lance was Stanley's best friend and neighbor. So it was a perfect friendship to them.

"Hey, did you do the 1st period homework?!" Lance asked, rubbing his neck hopping for a yes as an answer. "Umm no!" He joked. Then the yellow rusty school bus pulled up making a squeaky sound as it stopped, leaving gray smoke behind. "I will give you the answers in the bus!" Stanley grabbed his backpack strap as he walked to the bus doors, while Lance followed behind.

At 1st period

Lance and Stanley walked in the dusty classroom to see all their classmates messing around with one anther. "Hey hey hey!!" A blonde kid yelled. Stanley laughs as he does a handshake with the blonde boy. "Ok settle down! We have a transfer student!" The teacher announced with a small smile. Then a boy walks in, but he wore a white dirty mask that seemed to have a smiling face drawn on, making it hard to see his face. His black hair went on his mask as the air conditioning hit his mask. He wore a dirty gray sweater with a ripped backpack on his shoulder. "Will you like to introduce yourself-"

The boy sighed and just sat down in a empty seat right next to Stanley. Stanley look at the black haired boy confused. "Well, it seems our new student is a bit shy...well now let's move on..." the teacher sighed and grabbed the projector remote. Making the whiteboard glow. Stanley couldn't pay attention to anything that the teacher was teaching them. He had to many questions about this student that had walked in a couple of minutes ago. "Does the teacher not even know his name?! Is he even fully registered yet?!" He thought. "Stanley!" The teacher shouted making Stanley jump a bit. "I know we have a new student but that doesn't mean you can start making plans to make fun of him now!"

Everyone laughed expect the boy and Stanley.

...

It was now lunch. Lance and Stanley had different lunch times so he usually sat alone thinking of how he could have been better and what not. He picked at his food not paying any attention around him. Then he saw a red tray slide in front of him. He lifted his eyes and show the boy. "I- hey...?" Stanley spited out. The boy waved and seemed to smile, as his mask moved up a bit. "Do you even talk...?" Stanley sighed knowing he wouldn't respond to his question. But the boy pointed a finger out signaling to wait.

He seemed to be looking through his pockets, then he slammed down a note pad with a pen. He started to write something. Stanley become curious, he tried to look around to see what the boy was writing til he passed the note pad to him. Stanley looked down to read it. "No..." he read out loud to himself. He looked back up. "You know I can't be friends with some masked freak, right?!" Stanley judged. The boy looked down and grabbed the note pad again and furiously starts to write something down again.

He slid the note pad to him once again. "You can be friends with me but you just don't want to be like me..."a freak"..." he read, Stanley eyes the boy, as the boy tilted his head mocking him a bit. Stanley sighs, "fine...we can hang out...ONLY AFTER SCHOOL!" He said as low as possible. The boy seemed to smile again as he began to eat the school food, making his mouth visible. But only his mouth. His skin has covered by anther mask, the same color as the mask covering the other half of the face.

"You really wanna hide your face huh?" Stanley said playing with his food. The black haired lifted his shoulders up and down and continued to eat his food, like it was normal to cover up your face. Stanley felt like he might go crazy if he sat there any longer. He got up and said he had to head to class early. They both sighed as they slit from one another.

...

It was finally the end of school and Stanley couldn't wait to head home and relax a bit before doing homework. Stanley walked down the steps and waited for the bus to pull up. "Hey Stan! Were you eating with that mask freak?!" They laughed. Stanley turned to face the blonde haired boy that he had gave a handshake with. "Oh not really...he just come to my table." "Mhm...just don't talk to him and you and I will still be in a friendship" He grunted as he walked on to the bus that had just pulled up.

He sighs and starts to follow him to the bus as he feels a tug on his wrist. "Hey Lance it's not the time for-" he turns around to see the black haired boy, making Stanley jump a bit. "You again..." Stanley scuffed. He tried to move towards the bus but they boy won't let go. Then in the corner of Stanley's eye he saw the blonde haired boy stick his head out the window.

"Awww looks like someone likes you!" He teased "Oh shut up Henry!" He yelled. Stanley finally slipped out of the boys grip and walked onto the bus.

The boy followed him like a baby duck following his mother. He sat in a almost full row of seats to avoid the boy. The boy looked at him while passing by as he sat down at the back of the bus. "Stan, what was that about?!" Lance asked "Don't ask me...! Am the victim here...!" Lance frowned, wishing he knew what had happened.

...

Stanley jumped out of the bus and raced Lance to their houses. Lance shouted from his victory and then went inside. Stanley went inside seeing his mother preparing dinner, he grabbed a small snack before heading upstairs for homework.

"How was school Stan?!" His mother called. "Ok I guess, we just got a transfer student today" he sighed. "I see, what's their name?" Stanley gulped from the question of the students name. He wanted to lie but he decided it was best not to. "I don't know...no one knows actually..." Stanley announced. His mother stopped cutting up some vegetables and looked at Stanley.

"What do you mean no one knows the student's name?!" She asked "I don't know...he didn't introduce himself and the teacher hasn't said his name at all." Stanley continued to walk up the stairs to do his homework.

...

Time had passed by and Stanley finally finished his homework. He jumped on his bed and buried himself in blankets. He heard a knock at the door and Stanley assumed it was Lance wanting to hangout. "Stan! Your friend is here!" She yelled. He ran downstairs exited to see what they were going to do today.

He ran towards the door and his smile had fallen. It wasn't Lance that's for sure. But it was the boy. The boy with no face...
