At school
It was now a new week. The whole school pushed inside the gates and hanged out til the first bell rang. "Hey Stan! Over here!" Stan turned and spots Henry. Henry is the boy that will break your heart every second but people still fall for that boy. "Hey Henry..." "So how was your weekend?" Lance said "Heard you were freaking out on Friday!" Henry laughed. "Yeah yeah, it's whatever..." Stanley quickly walked away not wanting to hear more. "Hey Lance!" Stanley called. Lance turned his way and walked towards him.
"Heyyyy...what's up?" "The sky..." Stanley joked. Lance laughed a bit and then returned to the conversation. "So anyways, did you hear that loud noise on Friday?!" Lance whispered. Stanley's eyes widened "O-Oh...yeah I did hear that...weird wasn't it?!" Stanley laughed nervously. "Yeah...it's even more weird that it was a bit after I told you where the freak had gone to..." Lance thought out loud. Stanley become really nervous. "Well, I have to use the bathroom, so see you in 1st!" Lance waved bye as Stanley walked away awkwardly.
Stanley went inside the building and sat against the wall. He sighed and looked through his backpack to make sure he had everything. He heard someone walking towards him and thought it was Henry ready to pick on him. Little Stanley was correct as Henry leaned over him. "What now Henry?!" "Oh nothing...just that I saw this freak looking at you!" Henry grabbed the masked boy and throws him in front of Stanley. "What the heck?!" "Yeah I know what a freak!" Henry punches the boy, making him fall to the ground.
Henry laughed and looked at me. "Aren't going to join?! It's your creepy stalker!" He smirked. He get up feeling uneasy. "I don't think we should be doing this here..." "Oh shut up! Your turning into one of those nerds in 5th period!" Henry continued to hit the boy repeatedly, making the boy groan in pain. Henry wasn't the nicest of the bunch. But out of all of the popular kids he was the most aggressive.
"Hey look! Henry's beating up the boy with no face!! This is gonna be good!!" Someone shouted. Stanley got nervous and wanted to leave. If he did, his popularity won't be no more. He only had one choice, join in. Kids circled around as the other popular kids joined in as well. Making the boy out numbered.
The boys mask was being to fall and that's when the boy started to fight back. The boy knew he wouldn't be able to win. He grabbed Stanley's hand and dragged him in the bathroom. Stanley tried to fight back but the boys strength was to strong for just Stanley. Lance and Henry tried to grabbed him but the boy locked the boys bathroom door.
The boy through Stanley to the wall making him fall to the ground in pain. "What now?! You gonna finally fight back?!" Stanley yelled the boy fixed his mask and walked towards him. He throws his note pad at him. "You thought we were friends?! I only told you I would think about it you...you..." Stanley couldn't help it. "YOU FREAK!!" The room was silent. The boy stopped. "Am sorry...but I have decided...and I will make this clear...we're NOT friends and we will NEVER be..." Stanley grunted as he walked pasted the boy and walked out the bathroom holding his arm on his way out.
The boy stood there in shock. This face of course didn't show it, but his body language said it all.
...
It was now lunchtime. Stanley sat alone again. The boy watched Stan throughout the day. Stanley felt uncomfortable, he had regretted saying he wouldn't be friends with the boy, but at the same time he didn't. Stanley was still thinking if he should just sacrifice his popularity to found the boy's identity.
All Stanley wanted to do was to go home...
...
It was now time to go home and Stanley couldn't wait to leave. He quickly avoided the boy and went straight to the old rusty bus. Lance tried to talk to him as he got on the bus. He didn't want to talk, he just wanted to go home...that's all he wanted.
He finally arrived. He walked past Lance and ran home. Little did he know the boy was right behind him.
Stanley walked in and decided to help his mom prepare dinner. Afterwards, Stanley went up to his room to do his homework. But the picture frame caught his attention. He grabbed the picture frame and looked at it. It was his favorite photo of him and his mother. But his father ruined the photo, but in the photo his father wasn't in it. It was just his mother and him. Holding hands on the beach.
He smiled and put the photo down and began to do his homework. Then Stanley heard his window open. Stanley wasn't worried. He knew Lance was coming in. "Lance not now! Am doing homework-" Stanley turned in his spiny chair and as you guessed it, it was the boy. Sitting on his bed. "WHAT THE HECK?!" Stanley said falling out of his chair.
"You really are a damn stalker!" The boy throws his note pad and grunted. "You still want to be friends?! AFTER I JUST FUCKING TOLD YOU NO, IN THE BATHROOM?!" Stanley sighed and stayed on the floor.
"You know what mask boy...." Stanley thought how this might ruin his life. He shrugged it off and continued "I will rethink about being your friend..." The boy fall off the bed and then quickly got back up like nothing had happened. "It looks like you never had this happen!" Stanley laughed but quickly stopped knowing it was rude.
"Mhm..." The boy hummed as he walked around the room again. Stanley got up and looked at the boy. He realized that the boy had more bruises then before. "Hey...you ok.?" Stanley asked "Mhm..." the boy grabbed his sweater and put his hood on. "Yeah...your definitely not ok..." Stanley walked over to his bed and knelt down to get something under his bed. "I knew this would come in handy."
Stanley pulled out a first aid-kit. "Ok, come over here!" The boy walked to him and sat down crossing his legs. Stanley cleaned off the small dried up blood and put band-aids on him. "There, now...if we do become friends by any chance and I get bullied by my fellow friends...don't...I repeat, DON'T come and help me...it will make it worse..." Stanley puts away the kit back where is was and they both sit on the floor.
The boy passed a note to Stan "Why should you not help...? Well, if they find out that your like helping me, it well make it seem as if...never mind..." Stanley picks up his old big glass that he found on the floor. "Damn...I have been looking for these for a while..." he puts his big circle glasses on. The boy seems to smile and then starts to write something down. He gives it Stan, "Oh, you barely noticed I have freckles? Ha! Everyone always calls me "soft" since I wear baggy sweatshirts, but I never wore my glasses every since I was told not to."
The boy sighs and gives him anther note. "Yeah...because it was a nerd thing...so I wore my mom's contacts...!" Stanley laughed. The boy chuckled. "So...anyways, enough about my stupid life...I want to know more about you...since were probably going to be friends and all..." the boy thought for a bit and started to write again. He passed the note rather quickly "You had a brother that supposedly died, and you were told that your mother disappeared because of..." Stanley paused. "Because of your face...?" Stanley looked up from the note to him.
"Is that why you hide it?" The boy nods. Stanley was excited he was getting to know the boy little by little. But his face is the biggest the secret he has...
