Sunset Shimmer put down the letter on the vanity and sat down in the vanity seat. She looked into the mirror and grabbed the hair tie from her wrist and started to put her hair into a high ponytail. She stood up and stared at herself, placing a hand on the glass surface as her fingertips slid down the dirty mirror.
"This is a different year, you're okay Sunset. Dark magic will not consume you again.." she mumbled to herself, hitting her head against the mirror.
Her face drenched in tears, heavy eye bags and dry blood on her lips. She ran the sink and washed her face with cold water.
"I'm gonna prove to everyone that I've changed" She clipped the back of her bra. "It's not like anyone's going to believe me, well except those five."
She slipped on a pair of black jean shorts, put on a white top along with her black leather jacket. And to top it all off, she slid on her black biker boots.
"Principal Celestia is going to hate me, but I will prove to her that I have changed. I will show everyone, whatever it takes." She said aloud walking out her townhouse, closing the door shut.
Sunset hopped on to her motorcycle, put her helmet on, and drove off as if she was leaving behind everything she ever knew. When her motorcycle drove off, a note slipped from her jacket.
"Don't forget to meet us at Sugarcube Corner, your father and I have amazing news to tell you. - Love, Mom & Dad." the note read.
