Dave woke up before Ava and glanced at his phone screen on the bedside table. It was only 5.30am, years of waking up early for flights to different cities, or press days, or diaper changes or milk feeds meant that his body clock didn't afford him the luxury of a lie in all too often.

He stretched out his stiff limbs, careful not to wake Ava. He looked down at her tangled curls that had fallen in to her face during the night and felt his heartbeat quicken. He gently brushed the curls away, allowing his hands to brush lightly over her lips.

His mind wandered back to the night before when those lips were doing such wicked things to him and felt himself harden at the memory.

He slipped a hand under the sheet and ran it up Ava's body, he admired the curves of her hips and breasts as his hand swept upwards, making Ava's body shiver beneath his touch.

Her eyelashes fluttered and her wide blue eyes met his stare, his lip caught between his own teeth as he pulled back the sheet revealing their naked bodies. Her eyes trailed down his body and widened when they reached his excitement. Though she had been asleep only a moment before, she was suddenly wide awake.

Wordlessly, she reached out for his arms and pulled him on top of her and she sighed happily has his body covered her own. Ava had never been a morning person, but she would wake at 5.30 every damn day if this is what awaited her.

With one of his arms, Dave pinned Ava's wrists above her head, and supported himself with his other as he guided his way in to her. Her mouth opened to let out a pleasure filled cry, but Dave's mouth crashed in to her own, swallowing any noise she might have made.

They settled in to an achingly slow pace, locking eyes with each other as they moved together. Dave let go of Ava's wrists and her hands instantly tangled in to his hair, and pulled his head down towards her own so she could cover him in her kisses, but she pouted when he jerked his head up and continued to stare down at her.

"I want to watch you," he groaned, his voice thick with sleep and desire.

Ava's cheeks tinged pink and she couldn't tell if it was from embarrassment or intense want for the man who was making her feel things she was unsure she had felt before.

He leaned down to give her one last kiss, before he picked up the pace and Ava's face contorted with ecstasy.

He made her feel beautiful, and she found a strange sense of confidence as he watched her every move beneath him as though she was a goddess. His piercing stare spurred her on and she began to come apart at the seams, panting his name and begging for release.

His hand found that sweet spot and Ava went limp as every nerve ending in her body exploded with pure, intense pleasure. She vaguely noticed Dave finishing shortly after before rolling off her and grinning widely but she was still floating.

"That was fucking intense..." Dave panted, brushing sweaty strands of hair off his forehead.

"Holy... shit. I don't know if my legs work."

He let out a chuckle and she flipped on to her side so she was facing him.

Again they just stared at each other with huge grins on their faces, but they didn't need words. They had said enough in hushed cries and desperate groans just moments ago.

"You feel amazing..."

"I wish I could stay"

"Please don't go"

"Yeah, right there..."

"You can grab a shower, I'll make you a coffee before you have to go."

Dave hopped up out of the bed and headed for the shower while Ava pulled on a pair of pajama shorts and a tank top and headed for her beloved espresso machine.

She was just taking the first sip of her hot drink as Dave sidled up behind her, his damp hair pulled in to a pony tail at the back of his head, and kissed her neck.

"When can we do this again?" He asked, keeping his head tucked in to her neck, his breath tickling her skin.

"Every day?" She sighed, hopefully, feeling him shake with a laugh.

He stood straight and Ava handed him his coffee, watching him silently scan the mental calendar in his head.

"I have meetings today, and tomorrow... are you free Wednesday night? We can spend Thursday together. Then I have the girls at the weekend... maybe we can do Sunday night again too?"

"I'll book my dad's expert babysitting services... Wednesday night sounds good." She smiled.

"I can bring you to my house, we can get dinner! Like a real date!"

Ava could see the excitement in his eyes when he thought about having her in his home, having only been to her apartment and the neutral ground of The Hideout. It would be good for him, he thought, to have her where he feels most comfortable, where he would be pouring the wine and playing the music.

"That sounds great," she reached out and pulled him close, "Thank you for last night."

He set his now empty mug down and wrapped his strong arms around her, knowing it was almost time to say goodbye, he squeezed her tightly, committing to memory the nip of her waist and curve of her shoulder that he dipped his head in to.

The smell of her shampoo filled his senses as she shifted herself in his arms to hold him even tighter.

She tucked her face in to his chest and inhaled his scent deeply, hoping that she could memorize it to get her through the rest of her day. She held on, long enough for her to stop dreading his departure and sighed deeply.

Ava once again watched Dave walk away from her apartment, this time having squeezed as many kisses in to their short goodbye as they could, aware that Elliott could wake up any moment. While Ava wanted Dave and El to meet, she knew it was way too soon to introduce them .

She closed her front door once Dave was out of view and let herself lean against the door for a moment to soak in every moment she had just lived through, reminding herself once again, that it was real and not some vivid dream.

She shook her head free of her swirling thoughts and headed upstairs to wake up Elliott, suddenly craving the noise and destruction her toddler brought, no longer wanting to be alone in the quiet apartment.

She crept in to his room, smiling when she saw he was already stirring beneath his blanket. His eyes opened and found her, standing by the door and he beamed at her.

"Good morning baby," she trilled, lifting him up and holding on tight.
