Danielle's P.OV
Sunday Morning early 6am, father was downstairs making breakfast and getting ready for work. I had a massive headache from the previous night, I had to stay up late and study for my Mathematics Plus test. It was basically a class for students who were a little better and numbers, I chucked my leggings on and sports bra. Heading downstairs I had my breakfast which was my daily intake of a protein shake and 10 weetbix. I gave my father a kiss on the cheek and we both left the house. "Sweet Disposition" started playing, I started my 5k run. As I was running a noticed I received a few stares, however most of them were from girls. Which I was surprised at, when I got back home I could feel droplets of sweat sliding down my back. I heard the a knock at the door, I glanced at the clocked noticing it was only 7am. I opened the door, noticing a girl aged 18 standing before me. She was shivering as if I was snowing outside, she spoke her soft words "H-ii, I'm Emily my family and I just moved in next door, I just wanted to say hi." Stunned by this girls presence, I stumbled upon my words. "Hi, I'm Danielle. It's nice to meet you Emily" I choked. My eyes widened as I noticed she was still freezing, "Come In, sorry." I said, a small smile grew upon her face. The house was nice and toasty with the fire place open, she took a seat in front of me. Her eyes widening at the sight realising I was in my sports bra, making me giggle slightly. "Can I get you anything to drink or eat?." I asked her. Her voice shaky she let out a small reply, "I'm good thank you." We spoke for a few minutes, noticing her eyes stuck on my stomach and upper chest area, we were interrupted by my alarm. I said to Emily, "Look I'm so sorry but I'm going to be late to work, maybe we can continue another time?." Smiles all over her face she happily agreed. I changed into my work clothes and got in my White Audi R8 Spyder, my parents well I guess you could say were wealthy. My father was a Surgeon and my mother was a Nurse, I pulled in front of my work. It was my first day so I wanted to make a good impression, as I was getting ready another girl in the same clothes was looking at me. She walked away heading inside with a little smirk on her face. I headed inside locking my car, as I opened the door a cooling breeze of wind welcomed my face, causing my hair to fly a little behind me. A high quality dressed man approached me "Hi, you must be Danielle?, I'm Chris" A smile gathering his face. "Yes, that's me." He laughed and welcomed me to my first day, he explained what I would be doing. The corner of my eye saw the same girl from outside standing a few centimetres away from me. I couldn't help but glance, my boss Chris saw the girl and brought her over. "This is Maria, she is going to teach you everything." A cheeky smile on his face. She turned to me speaking "Hi, how are you?." Chris laughed saying "Cut the crap, you're acting as if she's a customer." I just smiled, she started laughing and it was the cutest laugh I'd ever heard. My thoughts made me blush, Chris smiling at both of us while saying "Come on Maria, show her." We left the bar area and headed towards the kitchen, she introduced me to everyone. Her smile was beautiful, she took me into the back area, where they kept all the frozen food. She lead me into a cold room explaining what was kept here, I could tell she was shaking at the temperature. I couldn't help but laugh, she looked at me confusingly and asked "What's funny?." I replied with a serious face on "You." She smiled and said "It's freezing in here, aren't you cold? You don't even have goosebumps." I giggled and a smile showed "I run every morning at 6 in the cold weather, I got used to it." She laughed. We exited the 'chiller' you could call it, on our way out we saw a few staff members. "Danielle this is Charlotte, Alana, and Andrew." They all looked friendly, but of course it always seemed to be like that. An hour had passed, and I needed something from the chiller. I searched for Maria, and asked for her help "Hey Maria, can you help me find something in the back?." She replied with a "Sure." "What do you need? I have a feeling it's the Rosemary?." I laughed at her guess "Actually yeah it is." She let out a little laugh and directed the way, as she opened the door our bodies touched. They didn't touch as they should've, her hands on my hips and our eyes drawn to each other. I watched as her eyes wondered to my lips. I could feel her cold yet hot breath on my skin, causing me to lick my lips. We were so close that if one of us were to move our heads in by the slightest degree our lips would touch. Her perfume smelt like heaven which drives me insane. She gazed at my lips once more. until she snapped out quickly and passed the ingredients. Once we were outside she mumbled and spoke softly "Sorry about that I don't know what happened." I shyly answered "It's ok." Another hour had passed, and I hadn't realised how quickly the time went here. I worked at a high class Restaurant, one of the most expensive in the World. Yes I mean the World. As I entered in the kitchen to take out food, I saw Maria. My heart skipped a beat, as if I'd felt something towards her, I pushed my thought away and approached her. "Hey do you own that Audi outside? I thought I saw you in it before." She unexpectedly said to me, "Yeah I do." I said to her in reply. As she was walked past me her hand slightly touched my lower waist, in shock I did the same. She turned around and smiled, I thought to myself, does she like me?." I shook the thought out of my head and disappeared. Before I knew it my first shift was over and it was an interesting one, I said bye to everyone except for Maria as she seemed to had vanished, after talking to My boss Chris I went outside and got out my things in my car the rain was pouring down and I wanted to get out as soon as, before getting in I heard I shout "Danielle" I looked around although it was dark I managed to find someone standing in the rain. It was Maria. She made her way over in my direction, shivering in the cold she asked whether she could get a lift as her friend couldn't pick her up. Before I even thought about it my mouth said "Yes" she smiled and got in the car. She looked around as if she'd never been in an Audi R8 Spyder, she made me laugh. I started my engine and took off, without me realising I drove to my house, and unlocked the door. "Um, haha I don't think I live here haha" she said. I had forgot I was to drop her off. "Crap, sorry I forgot I had to drop you off. Sorry I'll take you now." She smiled and took my hand "It's ok I can call a cab." She said, I demanded she let me take her home but she refused. "Ok then you can stay here for the night and I'll take you home whenever you want tomorrow." I struck. "Ok cool, I'm working with you tomorrow anyways." She sweetly said. I took her inside and lead her into the kitchen. Her mouth dropped as if turned to her, "Wow your house is amazing, this is all yours?." She said, I laughed as I put my things away. "Haha yes it is, sometimes my parents will stay for a day or two just to keep me company." I said she drowned in it's size and comfort as she fell into the couch. "You hungry? I'm starving." I said but she claimed she already ate at the restaurant, without me realising we were allowed to take any food we wanted home or to eat there. "Oh, ok cool. Well I'm gonna cook something for me, can I get you a drink.?" I asked, she nodded and said she would have whatever I was having. I poured two glasses of Diet Pepsi and started cooking my favourite Porter House steak with my chips and mushroom sauce. As I started cooking Maria came to watch me. She drooled over the fragrance, I finished my cooking and turned to she a beautiful girl eyeing my steak. "Want some?." I asked. She shyly smiled and asked if it was ok, I nodded and made her a steak and she demolished it in less than 10. We finished our meals shortly and I showe her a quick tour of the house as her eyes melted at each sight. I showed her the room she was staying in, "It's beautiful. Thank you Danielle, you know for letting me stay here tonight. I promise it's just a one off." She said. " You're welcome and don't be silly, you're welcome to stay anytime you wish." I answered. After a few seconds she looked at me blankly and spoke "I don't have any change of clothes for tonight and tomorrow." I took her to my room and faced her, "Go through my clothes and pick whatever you want to wear for tonight and tomorrow." I said she gently smiled and pulled out a pair of shorts and a singlet. She got changed and came downstairs, as I looked up she looked so good in her Pj's which made me smile at the thought. She sat down next to me as we watched 'The Originals' on TV, I caught her gazing at me for a few seconds and asked her why she looking. "You just make Trackies and a top look so good haha." She blushed. I laughed, 40 Minutes had gone by and the sudden movement on my shoulder alarmed me. Maria had fallen asleep, her head resting on my shoulder and her hands tucked in her, actually my shorts. I gently tried to wake her up but she was sound asleep, I carefully took her in my arms and carried her up the stairs into her room. I tucked her in and covered her with the blanket, as I turned away she grabbed my arm and pulled me in close, close enough that we could kiss. "Thanks again, for tonight." She spoke softly in her tired voice, and kissed me on the cheek before falling asleep. My heart beating fast. I smiled and whispered goodnight to her, I removed my arm from her fingertips, making our fingers caught between each other's. I turned off the lights and went to sleep.
SUNDAY MORNING
Maria's P.O.V
I woke up in a strange large beautiful bed, as my eyes focused I realised I was at Danielle's house, in her room, her house and her clothes. I could smell Bacon, Pancakes, Eggs, French Toast, and Waffles coming from downstairs. I went down the long elegant stairs and saw a beautiful face in front of me. Danielle. Her hair was messy but curly, she was in her trackies and top and I couldn't understand how she made them look so sexy. Wait, did I just say that? I blushed when she turned around, she was such a morning person. "Morning, how was your sleep?." She asked in such a caring way, I answered with a chirpy reply "It was wonderful, thanks for taking me to bed last night." Her face turned pinky red and nodded. After breakfast I washed my plate and walked over her way and gave her a kiss on the cheek for breakfast, if only I could kiss her on her sweet pink lips. I thought to myself with a smirk n my face. We drove to my place afterwards, She walked me to my door, I leant in to kiss her cheek when she moved without noticing. Our lips touched. Her soft pink full lips touched mine, for a second it felt like heaven, leaving me wanting more until Nathaniel my boyfriend opened the door. I quickly broke the kiss, as she looked at me as if she saw a ghost. Nathaniel gave me a kiss but I didn't feel anything from his like I did when I kissed her. Why? "Hey babe, who's this?" He said, I focused my attention on him clearing my thoughts of Danielle. "This is Danielle, she's new at work she gave me a ride here." I couldn't tell him I stayed with her, he would've got suspicious. "Oh hey! Nice to meet you, I'm Nathaniel Maria's boyfriend." He said with a friendly smile. Danielle gave him the sweetest smile causing me butterflies in my stomach. I've never felt like this before around anyone, not even Nathaniel, strange. Before I knew it Nathaniel and Danielle were talking about her car and how me we wanted it. Within 5 minutes she said her byes to us and drove away like a bad ass. The next day I got a call from Chris saying I didn't need to come in for work today. I was disappointed I wouldn't see Danielle, but It meant I could go shopping so I was happy.
MONDAY AFTERNOON
Danielle's P.O.V
The weekend was weird Maria acting weird around me and when we were with her boyfriend but not to mention the kiss! We were at her house outside her door and she leaned in to kiss me on the cheek I guess but I moved without realising and she kissed my lips instead. Her lips were pressed against mine, they were soft and full and smelt like strawberries. At a moment it felt so right, like I had been waiting for that moment for a life time. Our kiss felt like forever but it was rudely interrupted but her boyfriend called Nathan or something. I couldn't really care, I only had my eyes on Maria, after a while I was introduced and he went on ranting about how much he liked my car and how much he wanted it. I wasn't really paying attention, I was looking at Maria most of the time. After a while I said bye and took off. I was eager to get to work the next day and see her again, but she didn't seem to be there which made the hours long and boring. Whilst I was suffering in boredom Charlotte another staff member came up and introduced herself to me, we spoke for the rest of the night and laughed which made me happy. She was a really nice girl she was sweet and kind, as we were talking she pulled me in for a hug, just as the door opened it was Maria. She looked happy to see me then her mood changed when seeing Charlotte hugged me. "Hey Maria." I said. She just smiled and said hi and walked off to get her take away. As she was waiting Charlotte and I were talking in the corner, Maria could see us as I saw when she eyed us. Charlotte went over to Maria and it seemed like they had a serious conversation, "Don't hurt her Charlotte." I heard Maria say to her. I was confused but shrugged it off, "Hey Char can you help me with a table?" I asked her. She nodded but Maria gave me a glare as if she was angry however I ignored her and left with Char. When we finished Maria was heading out the door, still looking angry I discretely spoke to her. "Hey Maria, what's up you seem upset." I asked her. She looked less stressed when noticing I was concerned "I'm fine, thank you. Just be careful of who you stay with here." She said, before I could say anything she left.
The night was quiet after work the last thing I remember was lying I bed thinking about Emily the neighbour and Maria and Charlotte. I dozed off before 11:30pm.
